Welcome to Brookside Inn - our family blueberry farm! Brookside is a working farm located in beautiful Southwest Michigan - aka the heart of blueberry country. Our guests enjoy a quiet, country getaway. You'll be surrounded by picturesque blueberry fields on a wooded lot with covered bridge access to miles of an extensive walking trail. As an all-seasons rental, enjoy the beaches of Lake Michigan in summer, the local ski hills in the winter and of course abundant blueberry picking in the summer! The space Beautiful salt-block style 2-story home with attached garage. Inside the home are 3 spacious bedrooms, with 2 full bathrooms available that are beautifully decorated to showcase country charm. Plenty of space for guests to relax between the full living/dining room and backyard patio with hot tub, outdoor dining set and grill. Full kitchen with basic kitchen appliances at your disposal - Keurig machine and coffee included. Perfect space for families looking to enjoy the charm of a working farm and all that SW Michigan has to offer between the beautiful beaches and ample winter activities. Guest access Parking is located at the front of the house in the driveway. Large stand alone garage located adjacent to the house is off limits and will be locked at all time. Basement area of home is also off limits and will be locked. All other parts of the house are available for guests to utilize. Other things to note Actively farmed blueberry acreage is located in front of the rental property along with our farm store/u-pick location. The blueberries will be maintained for production through integrated pest management, irrigating, and mowing all year long with the addition of active bee hives in the spring and harvest activities taking place during the months of July -September. We ask that you do not interfere with these activities as they are vital to our livelihood.
