ROOMS FOR EXCLUSIVE USE: Private entrance and large foyer 50 sq.m. fully equipped gourmet kitchen Dining area for 4 (plus TrippTrapp) in the kitchen Living/TV area separate from the kitchen on the other side of the courtyard. Read on. . . The Arclinea GOURMET KITCHEN scores with a full stainless steel island. It is equipped with first-class cooking utensils and high-quality dishes/glasses. All appliances are Miele. Oven, steamer, warming drawer, induction stove, dishwasher and sep. freezer. Several small appliances on request. Nespresso, Nespresso Vertuo, filter coffee, French press for aficionados. LAUNDRY ROOM with Miele washer/dryer. Very practical furnishings even for long stays. The kitchen wing of the house is the main day area and through the full glazing on three sides it is absolutely flooded with light at any time of the day and year. The LIVING ROOM is located on the other side of the courtyard. Older children can be visually supervised from the kitchen without parents being disturbed by TV or play noises. Small children will also find plenty of space to play in the kitchen. SLEEPING: Very well thought-out sleeping area (70 square meters) in which the two sleeping areas are connected by the open master bathroom and the separate toilet. Access to both sleeping areas from the hallway. A COUPLE OR A SINGLE PERSON has the wonderfully spacious master suite with dressing area, freestanding bathtub, large shower and toilet/bidet all to themselves. The second room of the sleeping area can be used as a retreat area for reading or working. FAMILIES WITH SMALL CHILDREN have the advantage of being close to each other. The children's room leads directly to the toilet and through the open master bathroom to the parents. Enough space for an extra crib for the youngest family member. In case of bad weather, the children's room becomes a spacious play area. The two high-quality, pull-out beds can be converted into a cozy couch during the day. Board games, Lego, Duplo, Playmobil sets, Haba building blocks for marble runs and castles, etc. are available in abundance! Children's books in several languages. FAMILIES WITH OLDER CHILDREN can lock the connecting door between the children's room and the toilet to create a completely private master suite. The kids share the 2nd sleeping area and use the second shower room. TWO COUPLES traveling together will probably draw straws for the master suite :-) The pull-out couch in the children's room becomes a double bed (180 cm). GENERAL. Despite the high-quality amenities, the house feels very down-to-earth. We lived here and had a great time. Of course, we also allow our guests to do this, although we hope that you will treat our house as you would like guests to treat it. Air conditioning is unusual in Switzerland, but the house offers automatic apartment ventilation. There are both indoor and outdoor blinds for sun protection in the day area. Wooden slats in the bedrooms. Guest access The garden unit, described above, is all yours. All interior photos depict this unit. In the pictures showing the entrance to Reflection House, you can see the entrance doors to the penthouse unit. This is where we live. We are here to help or answer questions and strive to be discreet and quiet neighbors at all times. Other things to note Reflection House was conceived as a bungalow around a courtyard garden in 2011. In 2022 we added a small penthouse unit above. Privacy and sound insulation between both units is excellent. Separate entrances. The garden level, advertised here, still feels very much like the free-standing home it was designed as. The large expanses of windows in the kitchen make for an incredible atmosphere. Naturally, these reduce privacy in this space .... but luckily the kitchen faces grassland, fields and a farm lane, only. Furnishings and design will continue to evolve and furniture pieces may not be the exact items you see in the photos. Generally, furniture will be high-end Italian such as Poliform, Molteni and b&b Italia. To comply with Swiss law we will ask for your travel documents (I.D. card or passport) upon arrival and register our guests with the community office.
