Restaurants and shops are 20+ minutes on foot, so we do not recommend it if you are uncomfortable walking on snowy roads or slopes. Because there is a slope on the way, only four-wheel drive vehicles can be parked on the property during the snowy season, depending on the situation. For 2WD vehicles, metal chains (metal spikes on plastic are not allowed) are required for studless tires. If you are not equipped, we will guide you to the paid parking lot in Akakura Onsen Town, which is a 15-20 minute walk. 1000 yen per night, parking lot ⇔ shuttle service to the lodge is limited to certain times. If you get stuck, you will block the road for the entire area, so be sure to follow the rules. (A towing fee of 10,000 yen will be charged) It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the hot spring town. (Going there is uphill) You can bring in food, but you must take back all leftovers, unused ingredients, condiments, etc. The guest kitchen is about the size of a 7-8 person seating area.
