Private and unique room with a private bathroom. Kitchen. NYC Local Law 18 now requires one to live in and share the same common guest area. However, you will have complete privacy. Only one minute from the #3 and L subway lines with an elevator. 30 minutes to Manhattan. Very safe neighborhood. Please excuse the debris at the lot next door. Construction is set to begin next month on a commercial building. In addition, there is the construction of two new buildings and our own #3 subway elevator. The space I have a unique one-family house where I can offer a private bathroom with all the amenities, and I also live in the house. I work most days and travel to my animal farm in Maryland sometimes; however, I will be accessible through my cellphone and my nephew. I plan to retire after a long career as a professor, so I do a little gardening around the house, especially during the summer. Please note that even though the neighborhood is in New York City, it is residential and does not have local dining except for a huge Food Bazaar grocery store a few blocks away. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Manhattan and 20 minutes to Downtown Brooklyn on the subway. However, it is cheaper than staying in Manhattan or downtown. Plus, because of the new NYC Local 18 law, guests have to share a bathroom, etc. In my house, you have your own. Note, there is alternate street parking during the week, however note which side to park or else you can get a ticket. There is also an option to share my driveway if you're not going to use it during your stay. I'll happily allow you to do so, but let me know in advance. Guest access You will have access to the house, Verizon fios wifi and smart TV. Very quiet area. During your stay The host will be present during your stay. Other things to note The area is very safe and convenient for parking and the subway. Because of this convenience, you will hear the trains which could be comforting to some, but will take some time to get used to for others. I do not offer any daily cleaning or bed making.
