Koumaro Residence invites you to reconnect with nature and find solace in its embrace, offering an authentic experience to those seeking a respite from modern life's complexities. It is a place to embrace the simplicity and beauty of the past while savoring the present moment in all its timeless splendor. The apartment fits perfect for 2-6 people (families, couples, friends) who want a calm break next to the forest, with the pros of mild summer temperatures and 15 min drive to the sea. The space Koumaro House was built around 1930, it was reconstructed with stonework by hand by our father and grandfather (Emmanouil Pavlidakis, tailor and former mayor of the village) about 20 years later and became the family's country house. For some years the house was not used much until we decided to restore and reconstruct it, creating the small family business Koumaro Residence to share with you some of our childhood village experiences. The Apartment it self has 2 large bedrooms, a living room and kitchen (fully equipped) and the dinning space. It also has a loft with a sofa that can serve as double bed. The bathroom is fully equipped and spacious. Last but not least the apartment has a big yard full of flowers and plants with a big table and an armchair hammock, enabling you to enjoy peaceful moments and a splendid views of the forest and the gorge. Guest access You can use the entire place. Other things to note The house is located at the edge of the Village on a small hill, which gives it an unobstructed view of the imposing gorge of Kotsifos and the grove of Agios Ioannis. The stonework at its base was preserved and re-grouted and the house retained its traditional features during the reconstruction. Inside, minimal design and decoration are maintained so that the tranquility of the place is not disturbed by the image of the house.
