Torcross is a beautiful little coastal village in the South Hams, best known for its unique position between Slapton Ley and the three-mile-long shingle beach overlooking Start Bay. There are two lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of which is an en suite), a nicely kitted-out kitchen, and a spacious top floor living room with a dining area. The space 17 At The Beach is a three-level home. The entrance to the property is at ground floor level (via 8 steps) however there is a lower ground floor. Living Room Located on top floor this spacious room is furnished with two sofas, an armchair, coffee table and bookshelves Flat screen Smart TV with Freeview Dining Area Open plan with the living room on the top floor. Furnished with a table and seating for four Kitchen The kitchen is on the ground floor and has a foldable dining table with chairs. The front terrace has an outdoor table and chairs for guests staying at the At The Beach apartments building to use Parking Parking spaces for guests can be found at the back of the At The Beach building and include 1 space per apartment on a first come first served basis. For tariff information please click here Guest access All of the property Other things to note Please note that from 7th September 2026 until June 2027 the nearby public Tank Car Park will be out of action. You will still have an allocated parking space available in the At The Beach car park though. From 7th September - 17th October, sea defence operations work will be set up in the Tank Car Park, some noise will be heard during this time. From 17th October, sea defence work to Torcross Sea Front will commence. The work will be dependent on the tides, with the rocks being placed when the tide is low, in a 25 metre stretch from the sea wall out to sea. The rock armour defence will be built in 5 metre sections within the low tide windows starting at the southern end (where At The Beach apartments are located), working in parallel along the beach towards the northern end slipway. Completion of works is estimated for Spring 2027 time. It will take approximately 4-5 months to complete the main rock armour, so the works will be ongoing over the autumn and winter months, with the area around the car park and slipway. We anticipate that this will likely create additional noise in the area. This apartment is located at the back of At The Beach development, as a result, you won't be able to see the works happening but the works will likely have some noise impact.
