Our Highland Home

This stylish place is perfect for get away from it all trips. A beautifully designed home in the heart of the North Highlands. You can walk from the front door to the beach, woods or through the countryside. The house is just a short 5 min drive to the historic town of Dornoch and it’s world famous golf course, wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. It is also a great base to explore wilder places, the remote Flow Country or set off around the NC500. A generous welcome pack included. The space The house was built to maximise the views and the light. It’s open plan with floor to ceiling windows in every room and a floating mezzanine. We’ve kept most of the furniture and style mid century with original Ercol pieces in the living spaces and luxurious hotel quality beds, linen and fabrics in the bedrooms. The garden is fully enclosed and the patio offers privacy and shelter even if it’s windy. Guest access The house is solely for guest use. Other things to note The house is a passiv house so lovely and warm or cool as needed with its own filter system. There is a wood burner for winter days and we always provide plenty of logs and kindling. A welcome pack of local produce will also be provided.
