The space Tucked away in a peaceful North Yorkshire valley, Dragonfly is a beautifully converted four-bedroom farmhouse sleeping up to eight guests. With sweeping countryside views and stylish interiors, it’s the perfect retreat for families or groups looking to relax and reconnect. At the heart of the home is a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. Exposed stone and oak beams blend with modern finishes, while a large dining table, kitchen island, and cosy seating area with Smart TV make it ideal for socialising. There’s also a separate snug with a log-burning stove for quieter evenings. The property offers four flexible bedrooms with super king-size zip-and-link beds. Three upstairs bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, including a master with a freestanding bath and valley views. A fourth ground-floor bedroom with en-suite shower provides a more accessible option. Outside, enjoy a private garden with countryside views, a charcoal BBQ, and a jacuzzi-style hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. A front courtyard offers an additional peaceful seating area. Dragonfly is dog-friendly and set alongside neighbouring barn Kingfisher, making it a great option for groups looking to book multiple cottages. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a week, this gorgeous home is the perfect place to enjoy the best of Yorkshire, from countryside walks to evenings under the stars. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. You can enjoy a seamless arrival experience with self-check-in starting at 4 PM on the day of their arrival, using our convenient key safe. This allows you to settle in at your leisure and begin your stay without any hassle. Guests also have access to the on-site facilities such as the tennis courts, bike rentals and boules. We also have a reception area where you can speak to the team if you're looking for any recommendations for places to visit. Other things to note Please note that all standard amenities listed are available for guest use unless otherwise stated. If any services are seasonal (such as hot tub use, outdoor dining furniture, or BBQs), this will be clearly specified in the property description. At present, there are no known exclusions or amenity limitations.
