Relax at this unique and tranquil cliff top getaway. It's all about the unobstructed, panoramic water front views! Have a wonderful time, and enjoy the lake. This is half of a duplex with an open floor plan, a bedroom and loft, one bathroom and fully outfitted kitchen. You'll love coffee, drinks or meals on the huge deck overlooking the beautiful lake. A 5-6 minute drive to the Rough River Dam State Park. I'm happy to host guests with 1 dog, with approval ($50 pet fee applies) No cats. The space This private half of a duplex offers a beautiful, updated, open floor plan. There is a first floor bedroom and a loft offering 2 full beds and one twin. The full bathroom is spacious with a shower. The kitchen is fully and thoughtfully outfitted with the basics you will need. The main attraction is the huge, partially covered deck overlooking unobstructed, panoramic waterfront views. These are some of the best views on the lake! In addition to the dedicated oversized deck with furniture, ceiling fans and a gas grill, the outdoors offers a fire pit with chairs and an additional lookout deck that is shared with the other unit in the duplex. The gravel, semi-circular driveway has plenty of room for several cars, or even your truck towing a boat. For the security of our property and our guests, there are security cameras on the exterior of the building only. They do not film activity inside the building or the attached decks. In the summer months, we are a small stroll away from our local farm market. They have wonderful produce, pork and lamb products. Also, their petting zoo is great for the whole family. There is no direct lake access, but there are lots of great options close by for boat rentals, kayak rentals and other activities. I'm happy to give you advice on local activities if needed. Please acquaint yourself with our cancellation policy. We always recommend travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events. Guest access You will have your own unit and private deck. Common areas include all other outdoor spaces, the foyer and laundry facility. For your privacy and security, we provide state of the art keypad locks on each door with code programmed uniquely for your stay. Other things to note While this property is set in a beautiful, rural, peaceful location, there are several restaurants nearby. There are also places to launch your boat, rent watercraft or enjoy outdoor activities. Guided fishing tours are available close by.
