We have five acres of gardens for you to explore, from fruit orchards to sculpted native bush. We are located on the coast of Mangamaunu and within walking distance from world-renowned surf breaks. The space Surfwatch House is one of three stunning guest suites in the front house, offering architecturally designed spaces with elegant mid-century furnishings. This newly renovated home is the perfect place for your next holiday. The house features two bedrooms with king-size beds, a spacious lounge, and a large kitchen that both overlook the gardens and ocean. Please note - the second bedroom in Surfwatch House can be made up as a king-size bed, or two king singles. Please let us know before your stay which you would prefer, and we will make it up to suit your needs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stovetop, dishwasher, oven, large fridge and freezer, kettle, and toaster. The luxurious bathroom includes both a bath and shower. Sliding doors open to the gardens, deck, and BBQ area, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Being just 10 minutes north of Kaikoura, a charming beach town famed for whale watching, fishing, surfing, and cycling trails, the property is ideally located. Mangamaunu Beach, a world-renowned surf spot, is only a two-minute walk down the driveway. It’s perfect for a morning stroll, a swim, or a surf for all skill levels.
