Camp Pepperina/Luxury Bell Tent/Countryside/farm

Set amongst 100 year old Pepperina Trees is your Luxury BRAND NEW BELL TENT, sleeping 4. Camp Pepperina now has a plunge pool. There is a seperate fully weather proof and equipped kitchen. Nature surrounds with your own Private Viewing platform to enjoy the wildlife and farm animals. A historic dairy farm, now housing the newest style Luxury BELL TENT CAMP in true country style. Outdoor shower NOW HAS HOT WATER!!! A private bar with saddle seating. There is also a fire pit for fun or cooking. The space The 20 acres of fertile farmland was home to an old Dairy. The Farmhouse shed has now been converted to a Chicken Hotel, (The Hen Pecked Hotel). The renovation into a kitchen and bar area offers guests something that is unique. Access to the kitchen is through 2 doors at the rear. Sit at the bar on old tractor seats converted to chairs while enjoying breakfast or a coffee. Hay bails are your seats inside the kitchen area should you choose . There are many kangaroos on the property along with cattle. A viewing platform is located within the grounds of the Camp. The location of the Bell tent, surrounded by Pepperina Trees offers a relaxing and scenic stay. The bathroom and toilet facilities are rustic and unique. A NEW HOT WATER shower using rain water has been installed. A second toilet has been made available next to the outdoor shower. It’s a tented portable potty. The Pepperina Trees are used for Pink Peppercorns. The trees are over 100 years old. Please check of any existing fire restrictions before lighting a fire. The pool is constructed from an old concrete trough. It is a plunge pool only and will fit 4 people. The water is changed weekly. (In Winter this is closed.)Very little chemicals are added to the water. When not in use as a pool there is a fountain. Please note: Do not enter the water with fountain running. This must be switched off and removed before entering the pool and then returned into the pool and switched on. The Camp Kitchen has electricity now. A 91 litre fridge is now available. A battery rechargeable lamp is available in the kitchen. Camp Pepperina has now a camp cookout area. 2 fire styles are available right in your private Camp. Kindling is provided free when available. You will need to provide your own logs or purchase from the Camp stores if available. Plenty of wood around Nanango to buy. Regarding the Pool… It is seasonable and dependent on water availability and and temperature. The pool is an old sterilised water trough for stock. There is also available an infra red sauna for 2 persons. No children are allowed in this area . POA. There are ponies and horses on the property. Please do not enter paddocks with the animals. Should you wish to feed them carrots/apples you do so at your own risk. Supervision to do this can be arranged. Guest access The Bell Tent is housed in what was the old Dairy surrounded by Pepperina Trees. This area is for your exclusive private use. No other guests use or share this area with you. When you arrive come down the driveway. Look for the water tank to the left of the 3 car port garage and follow on the grass to a concrete pad. Your tent is just to the left of this pad. (It is appreciated that guests remain with this area as other accommodation near to maintain everyone’s privacy.) It is fully fenced and access is by a gate. Access to your tent and all facilities except the kitchen /bar are located in this 2 acre paddock. The kitchen and cooking station has water connected via a tap. This is 100% spring water and rain water and good to drink and use for washing and shower for refills. The shower is via a USB shower by Kick ASS installed in the shower area. (Spare charger available on site in a bag. ) Just fill your bucket with hot water or brace for the cold rain water and press the button. A kettle is now available in the Camp Kitchen/Bar area.Shower battery lasts about 30 minutes and supplies good shower pressure. Please remember to always turn taps off securely. All Water on the farm is limited and precious. Other things to note Please if anything is not working or broken let me know ASAP. If you need help or have questions or concerns ,Text through Air BNB best or a phone call if urgent. THE TENT The canvas glam tent isnBRAND NEW. It is 100% high quality canvas. Please no shoes or food in tent, as animals poo and ants. A power cord can be attached to provide an extra fan. It is very important that the tent is fully closed when you vacate or travel out for the day. Rain can occur at any time. WATER Water is from the rain. A tap is available to supply fresh rain water for drinking washing etc right at the camp kitchen. IMPORTANT; please ensure this tap remains off when not in use. 2 levers are fixed to ensure this. This water comes from main house tanks. Two homers units are installed, by Kick Ass. 1. GAS HOT WATER shower. 2. Another Kick Ass shower unit, that uses no power. Bucket(s) are provided from the camp to refill this shower. Just added a GAS HOT WATER SHOWER. TOILET Facilities 2 toilets are located in the camp site. Both are tented. 1. An old fashioned but hand crafted timber long drop 2. A portable camp toilet PETS The Camp can no longer accommodate large dogs. All pets MUST HAVE PRIOR APPROVAL. Unsupervised pets can endanger wildlife and farm animals. WEATHER AND THE REALITY OF Glam CAMPING. I have added this to the brief to assist guests. While the Camp is unique and glamorous it is still camping. It’s the great outdoors so there are spiders, frogs, snakes to be aware of as well as insects. THE CAMP KITCHEN The camp kitchen is well equipped. Plates, pots, 2 gas cooking plates, etc Basics are also supplied…salt/pepper,oil, tea and coffee. ANIMALS/PETS If you’re bringing horses we now have yards or they can stay in your fully fenced Glam Camp area. If you bring a dog please remember to have him/her on a leash at all times due to wildlife and farm animals. All poo to be cleaned up. Your tent will be checked on your departure for any left behind items and also confirming no pet damage. Please do not let your dog enter the chicken coupe at any time. OUR FARM ANIMALS Chickens are very special. Please NEVER give them their own species to eat. If you feed them left overs please do so outside their home. They appreciate used left over food. They love meat fish veggies. If my dog Cherokee , (a small Kelpie ), if she bothers you please advise. She is very friendly and loves children though she will jump upon them. Ask her to sit and she will. The farm has horses , a goat and chickens. Do not enter the paddocks with the horses unless you have permission . Horses get excited and love people and may kick or bite you accidentally. Please leave all gates as you find them. Important to note with Children. Dams/water holes on property. No fencing around these areas. Please ensure children do not swing on any gates and climb trees or walk on gardens or remove the flowers or fruit from the trees. Our bees need the pollen more. Items left behind and not claimed in reasonable time will be donated to charity. Thank you
