A detached country cottage in its own private grounds surrounded by open countryside overlooking Snowdonia National Park. The cottage seclusion provides an ideal place to get away and chill out away from the stress of modern life. With lovely country walks straight from the door, a well behaved dog is welcomed. Criccieth town & beach are 4 miles away and the location provides a good base from which you can explore Snowdonia, the Lleyn Peninsula and Wales Coast Path. A warm welcome awaits you. The space Rhos Ddu has a two bedrooms (upstairs), the spacious main bedroom with views of the mountains of Snowdonia has a king size bed , a wall mounted tv and a large en-suite with a luxury shower cabin. The second bedroom has a double bed with views over farmland with cows and calves grazing over the fence. Main bathroom with a shower over the back. On the ground floor there's a good sized kitchen diner with electric oven, ceramic hob and microwave, a dishwasher, fridge, kettle and toaster. All matching cutlery and Portmeirion tea/dinnerware and ample cooking utensils . The utility room has a washer/dryer, a freezer, an ironing board and iron and houses the oil fired central heating boiler. A cosy lounge with an electric log effect stove, tv, dvd, radio and ipod docking. The cottage has fast fibre WiFi - ideal if you need to keep in touch with work. A truly peaceful, tranquil setting with views of open fields from every window. At night the skies provide ideal opportunities for star gazing. Guest access Outside there's a large garden, a lawned area and a level tarmaced parking area for two cars. In the garden you’ll find a gazebo, a picnic table and a bbq. Also there’s a bird feeding table with a wealth of garden birds visiting for seeds and nuts. A paradise for bird watchers. Wildlife is in abundance with foxes, squirrels, hares and badgers are to be seen over the garden fence at times. For cyclists there’s a locked garden shed for safe keep of bikes during your stay. Other things to note On request a quality cot with mattress and a high-chair can be provided for a young baby (up to 30 months of age). All you need to bring are sheets, pillow & duvet for the cot.
