The Cove Oceanfront Retreat - Apartment and Studio

This unique pet friendly retreat has two private fully self contained guest apartments and the main residence. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. Pets are very welcome we just ask that they are not left unattended. Doggie sitting is available at very reasonable rates and we have a great list of pet friendly ideas. All the outdoor areas overlook the ocean, providing a variety places to relax and enjoy the gorgeous ocean views. The space The upstairs apartment has a queen size bedroom with stunning ocean views and ensuite and spa. There is a full kitchen, the main bathroom has laundry facilities and the lounge room and balcony overlook the courtyard. The lounge room can be closed off making it a second sleeping area complete with couch and double bed with the main bathroom beside it. The studio apartment is off the courtyard on the ground floor. It has lovely ocean views from the bedroom, a lounge and small kitchenette, dining area and bathroom with shower and toilet. The fully fenced backyard on the oceanfront has a large pool, open entertainment area with a BBQ, dining and lounge area. The chill out zone is great for relaxing and there is fire pit making it perfect for winter evenings. Stairs lead down to the deck on the oceans doorstep where there are rock pools to explore. When the sea is calm it is possible snorkel off the rocks out the front. Barolin Rocks is a good dive and snorkelling site which is only a few minutes walk away. The delightful tidal lagoon for swimming and the cafe and bakery are 5 minutes walk away. The convenience shop is nearby. Stunning Elliot Heads Beach and cafe is a 10 minute drive. It is turtle season at the moment. Night tours are available to observe laying and newborn hatchlings. The Mon Repos turtle rookery is a 20 minute drive away. There are 2 golf courses closeby for the golf enthusiasts and courtesy busses are available Wednesday through to Saturday nights to Sandhills Sports Club. Friday, Saturday and Sunday to Elliot Heads Bowls Club. Monday, Thusday, Friday and Saturday to Bargara Lakes Tavern. There are many local attractions in Bundy to explore like the Bundaberg Rum factory and Great Barrier Reef trips to Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliott Islands. Guest access Guests have on-site parking in the driveway and both apartments have a private entrance. Guests have access to all areas of the property.
