7th Rise

Tucked away on the banks of the River Fal, our secluded, wild location is one of the most unique settings in Cornwall. Experience Adventure at 7th Rise for your group get-together, family holiday, special occasion or retreat. We also provide experiences for business getaways, school trips, charity events, press trips and educational workshops. From day courses in foraging and wild food to all-inclusive multi-day adventures with canoe trips up the river, wild swimming and woodfired feasts. The space At the heart of the venue is the Lost Cottage of Penperth. In addition there are 3 individual accommodation pods; the Potting Shed, Hunting Lodge and Shepherd's Hut. Set within an ancient oak woodland in a private creek, the scene is wild, creative and peaceful. Across the site, we can sleep up to 17 people. The lost cottage – sleeps 10 The shepherd’s hut - sleeps 2 The potting shed – sleeps 3 The hunting lodge – sleeps 2 With acres of woodland to roam, a private creek for fine views and wild swims, dedicated archery and bushcraft areas and Canadian canoes to explore the vast river (book as one of our activities). Discover an outdoor kitchen and feasting table, woodburner, hammocks and hot showers, a treehouse, cosy cabins and a great fire – night time’s late centre stage. Guest access There is parking for up to 8 cars in the parking area. Getting to the venue from here is then accessed on foot by a track that runs through our neighbour's farm. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk.
