For guests with sensitivities, we provide white noise machines & ear plugs in each bedroom. We provide high-end bed linens, bath towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup towels and wipes, and all bedrooms have white noise machines and earplugs for light sleepers! The cozy and private back yard is complete with a large dining table, which seats 12, a Weber propane BBQ & cafe string lights for evening meals & hanging out. This historic home has been outfitted with all new modern conveniences for our guests' comfort: all systems have been updated, including new plumbing, electrical system, and including separate heating & cooling units for each floor. We are Dog friendly, 2 dog maximum, up to 50 pounds each dog. Pets must be included and disclosed in the reservation, and non-refundable pet fee is $150. Guests to send inquiry/message to host to add Pet(s) to reservation if option not available at time of booking. Guest access Guest will receive key pad code by 2:30pm on the day of arrival, via email and message center, for the electronic deadbolt. Other things to note The James McCool House has been a popular AirBnB home since 2010, and has recently changed management. A little background about the property & message from the owners: My brother and I rescued this 130 year old property from disrepair in 2005. The home has been fully renovated it to bring it to modern standards. We hope our guests enjoy the eclectic and unique mix of new and old, and appreciate the vintage accents throughout. We strive to make your stay comfortable and provide a wonderful guest experience, while preserving the home's unique style.
