Buzzard Cottage at Tangled Bank is a cosy family & dog friendly 2-bedroom farm stay in North Devon, set on our peaceful 18-acre farmstead with sweeping country views. Soak in the sun on our southwest-facing terrace, or enjoy a luxurious soak in our hillside hot tub (booked & paid separately). Meet our friendly alpacas - even take one for a walk! Located near Exmoor, sandy beaches & charming villages — yet tucked away down quiet country lanes, it’s the perfect base for a rural Devon getaway. The space Buzzard Cottage is a 2 bedroom self catering farm cottage (king and standard double) with a family bathroom with shower-over-bath and a cosy open plan kitchen/diner/living room downstairs. We can provide a work desk/office chair/desk lamp and power pack if needed. Buzzard Cottage is adjacent to our three other cottages, situated on our rural 18 acre farmstead. We offer a hot tub (booked/paid separately), alpaca walks, under cover and outdoor childrens play areas. We are pet-friendly and family-friendly. We are in a secluded, rural location, offering a nature retreat, but close enough to tourist amenities, sandy beaches and Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. There are walking trail from the front door. We have an abundance of wildlife, fantastic stargazing, a real nature escape. Guest access Guests have full, private use of this family friendly cottage in Devon, and its enclosed courtyard garden. You’ll also have shared access to 18 acres of Devon countryside, including: Games barn Children’s play area Dog exercise field Sunset terrace Alpaca & horse meadows Secluded hot tub (booked and paid separately) Other things to note Our private hillside hot tub is available to guests from all our cottages by appointment (paid separately) and offers stunning southwest-facing views — ideal for sunset soaks. Booking includes robes, flip-flops, and unbreakable glasses. £45 for a 2 hour slot, and only £20 for a 2nd booking during the same stay. Also available: our unforgettable alpaca walking experience, perfect for couples, families, or solo adventurers. Last-minute bookings (within 4 weeks) automatically receive a 10% discount.
