The Artist's Lakeside Hideaway The space Nestled on the gleaming shoreline of Lake Champlain, you'll discover this beautiful artist's retreat! Filled with natural lighting, old-world mementos, and modern amenities - every inch of this space elicits joy. Engage in some playful competition with your loved ones over the air hockey table, play a peaceful tune at the piano, keep up with your workout regime in the gym, and completely unwind in the hot tub's bubbling warmth. When you aren't gathered on the plush seating in the living room, enjoy moments of privacy in the bedrooms. One boasts an en suite bathroom and all are cooled by central air-conditioning. Some of the best views of the lake can be seen from the third-floor covered balcony, whereas the sunroom presents a pleasant space to indulge in some afternoon reading. Fully updated, the chef's kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all of the cookware you need to prepare delicious dishes! A private washer/dryer, a collection of board games, and internet access round out the home's interior amenities. Outside, spend your mornings gazing out at fantastic sunrise views and spend your afternoons swimming in the private pool. Combining comfort and convenience, this home is outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but is also within quick driving distance of downtown Burlington's shops, restaurants, and other amusements. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The primary bedroom, bathroom, garage, wood-burning stove, and shed are not available for guest use. The hot tub is Indoors on the first level of the home and is available during the winter only. Guest access You'll enter through the front door using the smartlock code provided in your confirmation. The garage has a backup lockbox with its own code if needed. Check-in and check-out times are available in your confirmation email. If you have any questions about access, reach out through your booking confirmation. Other things to note The home features an indoor hot tub available for guest use in winter only - please shower before entering, remove all jewelry (bromine can damage metal), run the vent fan while using it, and carefully replace the cover when done. An outdoor above-ground pool with deck is located just off the sunroom and is available seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. A fully equipped gym is available for your use - please wipe down equipment as needed. Use is at your own risk. An air hockey table is in the game room with controls on the side by the windows. You're also welcome to play the Wii or enjoy the TVs, which can access Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and other streaming services with your own login. A fire pit on the balcony is available for guest use. Towels and extra supplies (shampoo, conditioner, soap, pillows, blankets, eye masks, hair dryer, and cleaning supplies) are throughout the home - check the second floor bathroom cabinet and the closet outside the second floor bathroom for guest essentials. A first-aid kit is in the kitchen on the counter next to the dining table. Fire extinguishers are located in the garage (on the floor to the left of the interior door) and in the kitchen (to the right of the stove).
