Whether you’re lounging outdoors or relaxing on the patio, the soft fragrance in the air adds to a deep sense of peace and restoration. Meet the Courtyard: Esi – The Ylang Ylang Tree: Our beloved ylang-ylang tree is named Esi. In Fanti, Esi can mean “it has ended” or “it has already happened.” Here, she symbolizes the presence of peace, tranquility, purity, love, and emotional renewal. From dusk to dawn, she fills the courtyard with a delicate, uplifting fragrance that gently embraces all who pass beneath her. Abrewa – The Fountain: Nestled between two coconut trees is our fountain, affectionately called Abrewa, meaning “Old Lady” or “Mother.” She creates a soothing oasis within the courtyard; a gentle presence of flowing water that invites rest and reflection. Chrissy – The Christmas Tree: Standing proudly before the fountain is Chrissy, our cherished Christmas tree. Illuminated each evening, she reminds us that every day here carries the warmth and joy of celebration. Coco & Coco – The Coconut Trees: Guarding the courtyard beside Abrewa are Coco & Coco, our two coconut trees. When in season, feel free to enjoy their refreshing fruits; a simple gift from nature. Important Note Our property is not suitable for children under the age of 13. Bookings that include children under 13 cannot be accommodated. This policy is in place to prevent potential safety concerns based on past experience. However, children may visit briefly under supervision but are not permitted to stay overnight. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Guest access Complimentary Late Checkout: Take your time on departure day. Late checkout is available up to 6pm, subject to availability, so you can relax, freshen up, and leave without rushing. A $10 charge applies for electricity and internet usage between 12pm and 6pm. Also, only you and your +1 have access to the apartment. You’ll enjoy a private patio with your own washing line, as well as a lounge/living area, kitchen and bathroom exclusively for your use. The only shared space is the parking lot, which can accommodate up to 6 cars. Other things to note DANSOMAN (aka DC - Dansoman Community) Dansoman is a lively suburb in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, known for its strong sense of community and vibrant commercial life. The area offers a wide range of amenities including local markets, schools, gyms, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and live performance venues. You’ll also find several major event centers (some of the largest in the country), a police station, a courthouse, a stadium, and multiple football clubs. Popular fast-food spots such as Burger King, KFC, and Starbites are also nearby. Thanks to its central location, relatively affordable housing, and diverse mix of locals and expatriates, Dansoman is one of Accra’s most sought-after residential areas; a great place to live, work, and explore. We can provide cash and you can conveniently reimburse us through Airbnb using the “Request for Money” feature.
