Carib Edge AC beachfront penthouse, near amenities

The beautiful Carib Edge beachfront penthouse is situated on the exclusive West Coast of Barbados. The apartment is on one level on the second floor, has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table, a large bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower. Highlight is the large terrace with direct view of the azure Caribbean sea, where you can dine al fresco, have sun beds and sun umbrellas available: A place to feel the Caribbean atmosphere, to hear the calming sound of the waves, breath the healthy sea air. The space The large and well-equipped beach-front penthouse on the west coast of Barbados is situated just a few minutes walk north of Speightstown, the second-"largest" town on the island, actually a village. Here you find groceries, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, bars, medical doctors, pharmacies, all in 10-20 min walking distance. The bus terminal is only five minutes distant in the back. If you rented a car, there is a free parking space in the gated car park. The well equipped penthouse is an ideal place to unwind in Caribbean atmosphere, hearing the calming sound of the waves. This is a place for a romantic holiday for two, but also a third person fits in. The building is separated from the beach by a small road with local traffic only. You can swim and snorkel in the reef just in front of the building, all without planning where to go. Nice other beaches are just a few minutes walk away. In summer you might found sea turtles, laying their eggs on the beach. The penthouse has the best of two worlds: a quiet haven at the edge of pulsating touristic live. Description of the penthouse: Bedroom: air-conditioned with one comfortable queen-size bed (160 cm), mosquito-net available in case of need. An additional foldable bed for a third person is in the bedroom, but can easily be moved to the living room. Ceiling fan, spacious wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bathroom: next to the bedroom, walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet. In case of need, a second toilet is just one flight of stairs down. Fitness room: free to use, one flight of stairs down. Kitchen/living room: air conditioned, equipped with oven with 4 hot plates, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, ice-cube maker, water cooker, microwave, coffe-machines, toaster, blender. A washing machine and dryer are in the corridor between kitchen and sleeping room. In the living room is a sofa, smart TV, Android Box, Internet Router (fast glass fiber network + WiFi), blue-tooth music player, ceiling fan, in addition an extra monitor on a computer working place (no laptop), also a small printer. Terrace: Here four persons can eat al fresco, an electric grill is present. Two sunbeds are available and two sun umbrellas. The sea view is unobstructed to the south- and northwest, in between is the high-class restaurant "Baia", but you can observe the sunset looking over the roof of it. Because the penthouse is at the edge of the building, there is almost always a nice, cooling trade wind. Guest access The penthouse is one of our homes when we are in Barbados. We rent it out for the sole use of the guests. They will not have to share any of the facilities. Other things to note In addition to the foldable bed, which can easily be moved from the bedroom to the living room, a foldable children's crib and a high chair are available upon request. Opposite the WhiteSands building is the new first-class Baia restaurant & lounge bar. Our guests get a discount there if you tell, that you stay at White Sands opposite.
