Our property borders a biological corridor so we're regularly visited by lots of wildlife, like monkeys, sloths, toucans, deer, pigs, anteaters, coatis, hummingbirds, etc. 2023 updated to symmetric 60 mbps fiber optic internet, back up battery and ultrafast and reliable Netgear Nighthawk AX4200. The space This listing is for the 2300 square foot entire upstairs of the house. There are 4 bedrooms which all have memory foam toppers for ultimate comfort but can be removed if you prefer a more firm mattress. 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and 1 has a full and twin bunk. It technically sleeps 9 but I suppose more is possible if its small kids or your willing to use our air mattress or one of the couches. You will have access to everything that you see in the photos including swimming pool, covered patio with comfortable seating and dining table, gas and charcoal bbq grill, kitchen and dining area, living room, 1.5 bathrooms, and a massive balcony with lots of seating to enjoy the incredible view. There are fans in every room, including eight different 60 inch industrial ceiling fans and several pedestal fans. The main bathroom has a giant concrete bathtub and shower that has a jungle view and sometimes you can see toucans, sloths, or monkeys while bathing. The kitchen/dining area is fully furnished with everything you need, from the blender to the utensils. The large balcony is a great place to relax or do yoga and has lots of seating, 2 hammocks. The living room has a 50" tv with Amazon fire tv (Netflix and Prime Video included), and the ever important wifi. The house has a very fresh and open feel with 14 foot cathedral ceilings covered in bamboo and large windows everywhere with lots of new screens to keep the bugs out and let in the breeze off of the pacific ocean. We're located 10 minutes up the mountain from the paved highway and at 1000 feet elevation so we get visited by much more wildlife. Up here the temperatures are a few degrees cooler than at sea level so we don't need airconditioning. But for those warmer days there are 10 fans throughout the house, both ceiling fans and pedestal fans. Guest access There are 2 options with this house- 1. Rent this listing which is the upstairs half of the house that is includes everything you see in the pictures. 4 bedrooms, great room with kitchen, dining and living room, 1 and a half bathrooms, balcony, pool, patio, etc etc. 2. Rent the other listing which is the entire 6 bedroom house. The downstairs is only available to guests who rent that listing for the entire home (both floors). So no, we will not rent the downstairs to another group during your stay if you only rent the upstairs. We created this listing to make a more affordable option for smaller groups that don't need the entire 7 bedroom house. Also, instead of one very high flat rate like many houses in our area, our rates are are calculated by group size, making it more affordable to smaller families and groups. The other listing for the entire 7 bedroom home will have a much higher flat rate. If you have a group that is 10 or more people, you will need to rent the entire home/both floors.
