Maple Ridge Lodge

Relax, Enjoy the View & find some Adventure Located in the foothills of the Adirondacks at the edge of Tug Hill, Maple Ridge Lodge is your home away from home providing all the cozy cabin feels you need. Inside, enjoy a stone fireplace in an open concept living area, with connecting spacious dining & essentially equipped kitchen. Not only providing lodging for 9 guests, the lodge boasts an in-room jacuzzi tub. Outside, you will find a scenic deck, lots of yard space & plenty of parking! The space Maple Ridge Lodge will currently sleep 9 guest with the 3 bedrooms guests have to choose from. One of our bedrooms contains 1 queen bed and a log bunk bed that includes 1 queen bed on the bottom and 1 twin bed on the top. Another one of our bedrooms contains 1 queen bed as well as a crib that **may be available (confirm with hosts)**. Lastly, our spacious master suite bedroom includes a QUEEN bed with an in room jacuzzi tub and an attached full bathroom (has shower) with a walk in closet. ***IF YOU ARE ARRIVING IN THE WINTER MONTHS: The driveway will be *plowed and *maintained for guests. PLEASE NOTE, we do *NOT have a paved driveway, meaning, the driveway will most likely be snow covered. As the driveway *does have a *SLOPE/ gradient to it, we highly recommend arriving with a vehicle that is *ADEQUATE for the North Country winter season/ roads/ driveways (example: snow tires/ all season tires/ 4 wheel drive.) **Specifically, If you are from out of the area and renting a vehicle, please keep this in mind!* - No pets allowed - Absolutely NO SMOKING , vaping or e-cigarettes or recreational drugs **ON PROPERTY. - Do not leave children unaccompanied on property particularly on the deck area - Report any damages immediately. - Registered number of guests only, no parties or events. Capacity is 9 people because that is what the house sleeps - We ask guests to be respectful of our neighbors in regard to noise levels in the morning and evening, as well as being respectful of property line Guest access Guests will either be greeted by hosts or use a lock box to enter through the main front door of the house and will be given the code at (or prior to) arrival. Guests will have access to the interior of the house, the deck area, and the lawn area of the property. Please note that there are some closet spaces that are locked and not accessible to guests. There is also a locked off connecting office space, a garage, and a shed that are *not available to guest. Our neighbors do have some small animals, goats and chickens, that are located below our property line. Guests are NOT permitted on our neighbor's property or near their animals. We ask guests enjoy the animals from afar. They also have a dog that is essentially monitored by the owners, when outside. Other things to note * We are just outside of the village of Lowville. Technically, we are on the outskirts of Tug Hill. ******Across from Maple Ridge Lodge, is a sled trail that has direct access to (is part of) the Tug Hill trail system. ******* Depending on trail conditions, you have the option to either leave property on sled or trailer sleds to multiple locations within about 10 minutes. We are NOT directly on the Tug Hill Platue but the trail next to our location will take you up to Tug Hill if followed correctly. ***Please note that we recommend doing your own research of what trails are open and accessible on and off of Tug Hill (dependent on snow accumulation) .**** - Minutes from the Lowville Fair Grounds and Public ice rink (rent skates!) - 43 miles from Old Forge, NY - Scenic ADK/ all season outdoor recreations and the location of Water Safari water park - Snow Ridge Ski Resort 13 miles away -Brantingham Lake 16 miles away - Soft Maple Reservoir 19 miles away ( great for Kayaking!) - Adirondack International Speedway 5.2 miles away - Discover many local NYS forests near us with hiking/walking trails and cross country skiing trails. Check out the local D.E.C 1.5 miles away with great walking and X- country skiing trails as well as beautiful ponds and picnic areas -Watertown, NY is 26 miles away/ 30 minutes - during winter months: ice skating, hockey games, x-country ski and snowshoe rentals (visit Fb page : Parks & Recreation Department - City of Watertown, NY or Watertown Municipal Area website) Warmer months: Thompson Park and Zoo New York - Clayton, NY is 49 miles away SHOP LOCAL: all within 10 minutes driving distance! -* Nolt’s Country Store (great for groceries!) - *Miller’s Meat Market ( great for groceries and fresh meat for the grill!) - * Tug Hill Estate vineyard - * Clayton Popcorn Company (located in the village of Lowville) Please note that as of the end of 2025, the Maple Ridge Center snow tubing hill is no longer in operation as the Maple Ridge Center property is recently under new ownership.
