Water taxi available through the marina for an additional fee paid directly to the marina. This place is very popular with kayakers! The surrounding water is inside of a no wake zone. This place is literally floating on the water! No smoking allowed. No pets allowed. The space Private floating cabin on Norris Lake! The water is very calm. Is a perfect spot for kayaking. Starboard side can fit up to a 34 foot boat. Listing is for TWO guests but you can add another houseboat attached to the portside for an additional 100 per night that can sleep two more guests. It’s a separate listing and may be booked, but if it’s available during your stay, and you would like to add it, that can be arranged. The cabin is approximately 350 yards from the main lawn ramp. You can see it from the main launch ramp. It’s a straight shot in a no way harbor. Guest access Full access to the entire space. Marina has a full service shop with year round fuel and bathrooms available 24/7. Free parking in the marina parking lot. Other things to note Hi You will need access to a vessel to get to the place. Bring your own boat or kayaks/canoes are free to launch. Please keep safety a priority. Safety first then fun!!! Please have a current TN fishing license if you plan on fishing. Check in details sent morning of check in. Check in is anytime after 3pm and check out is by 10am Roof access: no one is allowed to be on the roof. Park in free parking lot at marina. Try to arrive early as parking may be limited during busy times on weekends and holidays. Load in on the main launch ramp dock. No wake zone!! Inflatables, kayaks, paddle boards are free to launch. The house is located on open water. Please secure/tie down your vessel so it can’t drift away. You are responsible for docking your own boat with your own bumpers. Please bring extra bumpers as the water can get very choppy in bad weather and when other boats drive by during the day. You are assuming all risk of damage to the space and your boat so make sure and bring extra bumpers. Heat/AC: there is a heater available to plug-in it’s small but it does keep the place warm. Please bring extra blankets if you think you need them. The air conditioner works perfectly during the summer. Fishing: You are required to have a valid/current TN fishing license to fish. Patio chairs: Please make sure and lock up the patio table and chairs and place them back when you are done/not using them. Quiet hours begin after sunset: Please be considerate of neighbors. Please keep music and noise down especially after sunset. Trash/cleanup: Please clean up after yourself and group. Remember, I do not charge a cleaning fee and require guests to pickup/cleanup after themselves. No cleaning fee ensures a budget friendly rate. Treat this place like a primitive camp site. Leave the place exactly like you found it. You are required to clean. Please do not book this place if you are not prepared to maintain a light footprint and tidy up after yourself. Bathroom : Modern toilet , sink, shower, stack laundry in the attached bathroom on back of cabin. You are REQUIRED to clean and reset the bathroom zone after each use. You are welcome to go back to the marina and use the bathrooms located next to the marina office on the outside of the fuel dock. They are open 24/7 year round. Please note: All trash/waste both solid and liquid,Wipes,paper products, feminine hygiene products are required to be bagged and disposed of properly. Main dumpster located at main ramp at marina parking lot entrance. As a reminder, I do not charge a cleaning fee. This means I require my guests to clean up after themselves and leave the place as they found it.. simply cleaning up after yourself helps me offer you a low rate. Be safe, relax, and HAVE FUN!
