This casita, completed in 2020, is one of four at El Puesto Del Sol and is known as Casita #1. Nestled in the beautiful Tola region, it sits on a small cliff with stunning views of both Playa Amarillo & Playa Gigante, both just a short walk away. Playa Amarillo is a fantastic surf spot, while Playa Gigante offers its own charm. Though a 4x4 is recommended for reaching the top, you can also park further down & walk up. It’s the perfect escape for those seeking nature, relaxation, and adventure. The space This front casita offers a stunning panoramic view, with a bedroom slightly larger than those in Casitas 2 and 3, though it doesn't feature a private balcony like Casita 4. Your casita is solidly built, with a lovely, fully equipped kitchen downstairs and a spotless bathroom. A wooden, steep staircase leads up to the bedroom - please note there’s no handrail, so it’s best to take care when going up and down. The spacious, light-filled bedroom on the second floor boasts a large ceiling fan. With three windows - facing east to Playa Gigante, south toward the endless horizon, and west to Playa Amarillo - you’ll enjoy VIP views of both the sunrise over the jungle and the sunset over the ocean. A constant cooling breeze flows through the space, adding to the comfort. The kitchen is simple but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside, a paved area in front of the casita overlooks a sea cliff, offering a gorgeous and expansive view of Playa Amarillo and Playa Colorado beyond it. Sunsets here are truly spectacular, perfect to enjoy with friends, neighbors, or a cold drink in hand. Playa Amarillo is known for its fun surf break, and both the water and village have a friendly vibe. You can buy fresh mahi-mahi, caught the same day, at great prices, and grill it for dinner, accompanied by fresh fruit for dessert. While it may be tempting to save every penny while traveling, there’s no need here. Every dollar spent in the village—whether renting surfboards, eating fish tacos, enjoying cold beers, or using local services—supports the wonderful local community. Board rentals are available at Room to Roam and Todd’s Surf Rental in town, and you can also take a boat to different surf spots, go fishing, or take Spanish lessons at Pie de Gigante Spanish School. For water, refillable 5-gallon bottles are available at nearby La Cascada Hostel or Dale’s. This is a peaceful, quiet retreat where you can truly rest and recharge your soul. **WIFI:** Each casita has its own dedicated router with a stable connection of about 15 Mbps, suitable for video calls. However, the internet provider in our area occasionally experiences service interruptions, which are out of our control. While infrequent, you might encounter brief outages during your stay.
