Enjoy your morning coffee by the pellet stove while watching the deer roam. This beautiful, cozy cabin sits just inside the little black checkpoint of the North Maine Woods and has direct access to the ITS 92 snowmobile trail. Here, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of being in the north woods, or you can set off on your snowmobiling, hunting, or fishing adventure. The cabin features 4 twin beds (loft area) and one queen bed inside. The space The cabin features a full kitchen with all the cooking items, dishes, and utensils you need. The living room has a pellet stove, and pellets are left for guests to use if they desire. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and small closet, as well as a full bathroom. Upstairs is a loft area with 4 twin beds. Plenty of parking for your vehicles and snowmobile trailers. There is also a park and ride across the street, so guests can move their snowmobile trailer and keep riding on the day of checkout. Other things to note The cabin sits inside the north maine woods checkpoint. During the winter months there are no entry fees, but if staying during the summer months when the checkpoint is staffed, guests will be required to register and pay entry fees with NMW. The cabin is located about 30 min from the nearest grocery store. We recommend stopping in Fort Kent to get any forgotten items. There is also one very nice little restaurant called Two Rivers Lunch, located right in Allagash.
