Le Chalet du Papote, alpine chalet

Located at an altitude of 1800 m, the chalet has been renovated by us with simplicity and authenticity, respecting the local architecture. Its location is ideal for those who want to fully enjoy nature and the mountains and indulge in the pleasure of skiing and hiking. In winter, the slopes of the Aussois ski area pass nearby, while in summer the Vanoise National Park is only a few minutes' walk away. Facing south, it offers all the comforts you need. The space DESCRIPTION Living room, with an area of about 13 m2, composed of the dining area with corner bench, wooden tables and chairs, a dresser and a wall cupboard. Heating provided by an electric radiator and a wood stove. The main room of about 30 m2 includes: well-equipped kitchen with central island: combined microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove with 5 gas burners, food processor, coffee machine with grinder, toaster, fondue set, raclette... In summer, access by car via a paved mountain road then a very passable dirt track up to 100 m from the chalet. Transport of your luggage and supplies by 4x4. The chalet is only 4 km from the village of Aussois. It is the ideal base camp for hikers, mountaineers, climbers, paragliders but also for cyclists (Iseran, Galibier, Mont Cenis, Croix de Fer, Glandon...) and mountain bikers (enduro and cross country). WINTER: Enjoy the calm and serenity of the place with the added bonus of the pleasure of leaving and returning on skis Alpine chalet located on the slopes of the Aussois ski area. Access is via a blue track from the Grand Jeu chairlift (note: last ascent at 4:15 p.m.). Non-skiers can access the chalet by snowshoes (about 1 hour walk and 300 m elevation gain). We will pick you up at the parking lot in front of the snow and accompany you on skis to our family chalet. Transfer of luggage and supplies by motorized vehicle. Please note, not suitable for toddlers who do not ski and have to take lessons because there is still 1 blue slope to take in the morning to reach the resort. The chalet is ideally placed for cross-country skiers.
