In the heart of the Périgord Noir, 15 minutes from Sarlat, in a green setting, this fully equipped and warm house will offer you the leisure of a walk in the woods on the many marked paths directly accessible, the discovery of the cultural treasures of the valley of the castles or the aquatic pleasures a few minutes from the Dordogne. You will discover our gastronomy and our terroir with many restaurants, markets, and the work of the truffle dog in season in our truffle field. The space Lou Sécadou is a 4-star gîte Dordogne Périgord Tourisme France, a label that testifies to the quality of the services offered. A large sheltered terrace welcomes you to this renovated old tobacco dryer, combining the modern and the old. The large 70 m² living room with fully equipped kitchen opens onto the bedroom with a hotel-quality queen size bed, equipped with window mosquito nets and individual reading lights. The bathroom with shower and separate toilet are also on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find a mezzanine landing room intended for rest, exercise or work according to your desires. All without neighbors, overlooking the garden and woods. Guest access Two rooms upstairs are condemned for storage, the rest of the house and the adjoining garden are all yours. Our house is nearby, to respect each other's privacy, we suggest that you have access to the exteriors of the rest of the property (woods, orchard, vines) except our terrace and our vegetable garden. We recommend comfortable shoes on site. Other things to note The owners' homes and the accommodation are completely independent. Our animals are very curious and affectionate, for your comfort we tie the dogs before your arrival. A barrier encloses your terrace to avoid their untimely visit. The cat lounges with us during the day, it only goes out in the evening, and we forbid it access to your accommodation. Our few hens and rooster shouldn't bother you. And yes, he crows but not under your windows :) Even if we love animals, it is totally out of the question to welcome an animal into the gîte, with the sole exception of assistance animals.
