Simon's Rest is in a gated community. The unit overlooks a beautiful lagoon. Dine on the private patio, take a swim in the pool, or visit the onsite restaurant/bar. Guest can walk along the beaches spanning the adjourning condos or stow away to the private 2nd patio. There is a king size bed (rm. 1); 2 twin beds (rm. 2), and a pull-out sofa. A Eufy doorbell is installed to provide a unique code to each guest which is deleted after use. No video is captured inside the unit. Guest access Access to the gated parking lot will require the unit's assigned four digit code. Once the code has been entered at the access box, the gate will begin to open and close after you drive into the development. The gate is manned by security during the night hours. When exiting the community, the gate will open when your vehicle reaches a certain distance to the gate. It will close once you pass the threshold. Entering the unit: you will need to access the key which will be located in a lock box on the stair rail. The key opens the black metal gate. After you've opened the metal gate, you will use the four digit code we will provide to access the electronic lock on the main/front door. Using your index finger: (1) press in the left bottom corner to highlight the screen...then (2) enter the assigned four digit code. You will see a green check when the latch is unlocked. Please do not leave the property with the main door (turquoise) open and the black metal screen door locked. In the event of a frequent rainstorm, water can enter. Please note, if you leave the turquoise door open (which means, it's backed to the wall inside the unit), the electronic will think the door is closed and will turn to the locked position (i.e. lock will protrude outward). When you attempt to close the door, the protruding lock will scrape the wall. Please remember to turn the protruding lock to the unlock position, so the door will close smoothly (i.e. without scrapping the wall). There is no assigned parking. Some own may have spaces where they park regularly; however, spaces are not assigned to anyone. Feel free to park where you feel works for you, except in spaces designated for people with disabilities if you do not fit that criteria. Other things to note ELECTRICITY Keep all windows and sliding doors closed when AC is on. When you plan to be out, please conserve energy, by turning the ACs off in each room. The property/inside cools down really quickly when turned on. WATER The condo draws its water from an underground cistern and is equipped with an Ultra Violet (UV) water treatment system installed. The water treatment system is equipped with a 1 and 5 Micron Filtration unit capable of filtering particles as small as 0.00004 (1/15th the size of a human hair). Additionally, the filtration system is also fitted with a granular activated carbon (GAC) filter, capable of removing odor from water. WI-FI The internet service provider is VIYA which is the most popular on the Island. Service is typically great, but guest might experience outage from time to time. SNORKELING One guest left a message stating that when snorkeling there were lots of fishes right along side the tire reef. We can't confirm, but we believe the guest. :-)
