The property is located high and free, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. The house is located 560 meters above sea level at the foot of Hardangervidda with panoramic views of Vestfjorddalen, Vemork museum and Rjukan. If you want idyll in the mountains, with many exciting and varied activities right outside the door, this is the place for you. Short distance to slalom slopes and cross-country ski trails. The museum and the saboteur trail are just outside the property. Rjukan is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and we can really feel the history The space A large cozy house of 130 m2 with high standard and well equipped. The house is on two floors and contains 3 bedrooms, large combined living room/kitchen with fireplace, library/study, modern bathroom on the 2nd floor, and laundry room with washing machine/dryer on the 1st floor. From the master bedroom you can go out on the balcony to hear birdsong or to enjoy the views and nature in Telemark. If you are up early you can go out on the large terrace and enjoy a good cup of coffee on the sofa and enjoy the warm sun. The patio is designed for barbecue, dining and coziness. Guest access The kitchen is well-equipped. There is free access to pick vegetables and herbs in the garden. We have internet, TV, stereo, books and board games. It is possible to park cars outside the house and in front of the garage. Heating sources: heating stove in the bedroom, heat pump and fireplace in the living room/kitchen, heating cables in the bathroom and in the hallway. Other things to note - The area is on the UNESCO list and therefore fireworks are not allowed. - Pets are not allowed. - Smoking is allowed only outside. Not inside the house. - Bed linens and towels are included in the cleaning fee.
