The Dredge Master's B&B
Description
Situated up the Grey Valley just 5kms from the historical township of Blackball you will find the Dredge Masters's B&B. It has been transformed into a very cosy, comfortable cottage with all the comforts of home. You will be surrounded by the Paparoa Ranges, our own native bush and the song of the birds. Whether you are visiting the coast for the walking and mountain bike tracks or just to escape life, this is the place to relax. The space The Dredge Masters B&B consists of 2 bedrooms with a Queen size bed in one room and 4 custom made King Single bunk beds in the other. The kitchen is fully self contained with fridge, stove top, oven and microwave. The lounge has a very comfortable leather lounge suite big enough to seat up to 6 guests. To keep you warm on the cooler nights there is a log fire that warms the whole house. We are conveniently situated on Atarau Road between the Paparoa Track and the Pike River track. Guests who wish to do these tracks can stay, ride/walk the track and return via the Pike River track to the Dredgemasters. We can assist with transport to the start/end of either the Paparoa Track and the Pike River Track if required. Guest access Guests are welcome to wander the gardens. Care must be taken if you decide to wander around our little block of bushland. The ground is uneven and there are lots of blackberries and gorse. We are working towards a private garden for guests staying at the Dredgemasters to enjoy. Other things to note Our property is an ongoing project. We are continuously developing our land so that it is a sanctuary for our guests when they visit. We are busy building gardens and pathways so that it is easy for our guests to get about and enjoy. Steve and I are both on the property and live in the cottage behind the Dredge Masters. We enjoy getting to know people but respect your privacy. Please don't hesitate to ask for help if you need anything.
