No roads to cross, just the white of the pebbles and the blue of the Ionian Sea. • The spectacle of Etna: from your deckchair you can admire the Sicilian volcano in all its majesty, offering scenery that changes from the red of the sunset to the white of the morning clouds. • Night Under the Stars: Thanks to its privileged position, the veranda becomes a private astronomical observatory. The Milky Way shines vividly above you and, on the right nights, the Red Moon rises from the sea, creating a movie-like atmosphere. • Special Meetings: This is a nesting area for Caretta Caretta. It is not uncommon for the lucky ones to witness the miracle of life being renewed on this pristine stretch of coastline. Guest access Imagine: Parking your car safely in our private parking lot. Other things to note The area is mainly served by the Ionian railway line and local buses. 🚆 By Train The reference railway station is San Lorenzo-Marina, located right on the Jonica line. • From Reggio Calabria Centrale: There are frequent regional trains. The journey takes about 35-45 minutes. The view from the train is splendid because the line runs right along the coast. • From Melito di Porto Salvo: This is the nearest main hub. Many local trains and buses depart from here and reach Marina di San Lorenzo in about 5-10 minutes. • Tip: check the timetables on the Trenitalia website by searching for "San Lorenzo-Marina". 🚌 By Bus Road connections are mainly managed by local companies that connect the towns of the Ionian coast with Reggio Calabria and the internal centres of the Grecanica Area. • Autolinee Federico: This is the main company in the area. It connects Marina di San Lorenzo with Reggio Calabria, Stretto Airport and Melito di Porto Salvo. • Internal Connections (Bova/Pentedattilo): To reach the historic villages in the hinterland (such as Bova), there are scheduled buses, but the routes are less frequent than those on the coast. It is often more convenient to have a car or arrange a private transfer. ✈️ From Stretto Airport (REG) Reggio Calabria's "Tito Minniti" airport is the closest (about 30-40 minutes by car). • Train: From the airport you can take the shuttle or a taxi to the "Reggio Calabria Aeroporto" railway stop and from there the direct train to San Lorenzo-Marina. • Bus: There are direct buses from the Federico company that pass from the airport and stop on the SS106 near Marina di San Lorenzo. We are easily accessible by train (San Lorenzo-Marina station a few minutes away) or by bus from Reggio Calabria and Melito Porto Salvo. We recommend the car for those who want to explore the inland villages of the Grecanica area. Our location on the beach allows you to enjoy the sea and local services, even on foot.
