Our mountain retreat is nestled in Aspen trees in a quiet end unit, completely remodeled in a modern boho theme. This 1500 sqft home is perfect for families to come enjoy Mammoth. The grocery and popular restaurants are around the corner. The new ice rink, bowling alley/arcade, and theater are also within walking distance, with a free shuttle to the ski lodges and The Village at the street corner. Whether you're ready to ski, hike, explore, or simply relax, we know you will love your stay! The space The Aspen Chateau is a 2 story, 4 bedroom townhouse nestled among a grove of aspen trees. Our home is an end unit, with no one above or to the left. We are located in a quiet complex with a large grassy area next to our home. The complex offers an indoor sauna and hot tub for soaking, and a pool that is open during the summer. On the entry level are three bedrooms featuring king beds in two rooms, and a bunk room for the kids with 4 twin beds. The primary bedroom has it's own 55 inch smart TV. In the bunk room, the kids also have their own 55 inch smart TV, air hockey and darts (soft tip). The primary bedroom has its own full bathroom, while there is another full bathroom in the hallway. Upstairs, you will find the living room, dining room, kitchen and 4th bedroom with another king bed. There is also another full bathroom located in the hallway. The living room has a 55 inch smart TV and pellet stove. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a home cooked meal. In addition, there is a propane gas BBQ out on the wrap around deck. The dining table seats 8 easily and there are chairs/ TV trays for additional seating options. Each room within the house is equipped with its own heater. There are also wall heaters throughout the home. A brand new pellet stove in the living is available for warmth and ambience. Our home has free high speed WiFi with an excellent connection throughout. A small washer and dryer is located downstairs in the entry closet for your convenience. Complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided in each bathroom. Guest access There is parking for two cars right in front of our home. Guests will be provided with a code to enter the home before arrival. The community spa and pool also require a code to enter. This changes periodically for security reasons and will be provided as your check-in date nears. Please note that access to the community spa and pool is not guaranteed. This is a NO SMOKING/NO PET/NO INDOOR SHOES home. Our GUEST LIMIT is 10 people. WINTER WARNING: Please note that Mammoth is a high alpine destination where the weather can be severe and change rapidly. All guests should bring tire chains with them and check driving conditions regularly. Any road closures/delay caused by winter storms are outside of our control and will not result in a refund. USER OWN RISK: Pellet stove use, dart board use, community spa/jacuzzi and snow play outside our home is at guests' own risk. Owner assumes no liability for guests' use of these items or activities. Other things to note When you are ready to explore the splendor of Mammoth you will find much within a short walk. There are two shuttle stops that can take you to the ski lodges and the Village, each stop less than a block away. We are located 4 mins from Eagle Lodge, 7 mins from Canyon Lodge, and 4 mins from The Village. Within a quarter mile is the new ice skating rink, the bowling alley, movie theater, Starbucks, and Vons grocery store. Several popular restaurants are just around the corner as well, including Distant Brewery, Salsa's Mexican food, Gojira Ramen & Sushi, Noodle-Ly, Giovanni’s Pizzeria, The Stove and The Warming Hut. While everyone is familiar with Mammoth’s world class skiing, hopefully guests will also find time to explore beyond the slopes and visit one of the many beautiful hikes, biking trails, or lakes this special place has to offer.
