Le Tucou - Comfortable Gîte & Spa

Welcome to Lou Pais. Our house comprises three self-contained accommodation units, each with its own private terrace, nestled in the heart of the magnificent Campan Valley. Here, you can enjoy unspoilt natural surroundings, with no shops or major main roads nearby. ⚠️ Important information: water restrictions have been in force in the municipality since 1 August 2026. As a result, the hot tub may not be available during your stay. The space Le Tucou can accommodate up to four people and features a bedroom, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. - You will also have access to a Nordic Bath, an ecological alternative to the jacuzzi, offering an authentic and relaxing experience in full nature. The bath is heated by wood via an outdoor fireplace, a gentle and pleasant way to reconnect with the natural rhythm of the elements. The Nordic bath is shared between the three units of the property. To preserve each person’s privacy, you can book an hour slot via a simple and accessible calendar (it is in the confirmation message of your reservation). We provide you with everything necessary: wood, small wood, firelighters, as well as a practical guide for easy use. 👉 Good to know: the heating time can vary depending on the season, up to 3 hours. It’s part of the charm of this moment out of time, perfect to relax, gather around the barbecue, and fully enjoy once the bath is ready to cover you with bubbles. For your comfort, we provide bed linen, bath towels and tea towels free of charge, along with basic cooking essentials (olive oil, salt, pepper and sugar), as well as shower gel and washing-up liquid. A few coffee pods, toilet paper and kitchen roll are also provided to welcome you and help you get your stay off to a good start. For longer stays or any top-ups, guests are responsible for their own supplies. You can also enjoy the private terrace and outdoor areas of the property. The shared Nordic bath is accessible by reservation slot to guarantee a moment of relaxation in complete tranquility. Other things to note The region offers a wide range of activities such as hiking, skiing and much more, all easily accessible from our house, which, whilst secluded, is close to the Route des Deux Cols, providing easy access to the pretty town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre with its thermal baths and shops on one side, and to the Upper Adour Valley on the other. ⚠️ Please note: From 1 November to 31 March, winter tyres or snow chains are compulsory when driving in mountainous areas.
