Port Welshpool has the excellent fishing sands. Even if you're new, an expert boat driver can help you try your hand at fishing and enjoy prime fishing for Snappers/Gummies. The area offers an adventure cruise in the port, and a highly-ranked general store, playground, as well as a bowling club for additional entertainment. The drive from the city to our countryside retreat takes about 150 minutes, surrounded by beautiful green hills, reminiscent of a kids' cartoon. Nature makes the journey enjoyable. Besides this scenic route, you'll find attractions like a suspension bridge, dairy farms, wineries, wind farm and waterfalls. Notably, Wilson's Promontory, one of Victoria's top 10 attractions with the best Australian beach in 2024 "Squeaky beach" is a must-visit. though it's a separate day trip. Its indescribable beauty adds to the charm of our location. Whether you're exploring local attractions or planning a visit to Wilson's Promontory after settling into the house, these sights make the journey and stay memorable. Guest access Guests have access to all indoor and outdoor spaces, except for a few areas: 1. The 'Boat Shed' is currently not available for access but will be transformed into a super exciting entertainment area in the next phase. 2. The 'Wood Shed' is locked, as our cozy space with a wood smell has been upgraded to a stylish house, with no fireplace or fire pit. The Wood Shed will be converted to a pergola soon. 3. One 'WardRobe' is locked for our private belongings. 4. Any additional bedding more than approved guests number in rooms or from wardrobe. 5. White box which is infront of bathroom is all about Wi-Fi and guests shouldnt try to open it. Rest assured, no work is happening in the 'Boat Shed' during your stay. All other areas are accessible and ready for you to enjoy! Other things to note The front yard is equipped with three security cameras for added security. they record in cloud even when the Wi-Fi doesnt work as they have 4G backup. The inside of the house and the backyard are private for our guests; no surveillance devices are used in those areas. "Please note: One room is kept locked by default. It will be opened and the access code provided only for bookings of 7+ guests. For smaller groups, access can be arranged upon request with an additional charge."
