The owner of this old house "Tsukosho" speaks English and French, so guests who don't speak Japanese can enjoy meeting very interesting places and interesting people in the town with interpreters.It will be a very unique and healthy stay that you cannot experience in famous tourist destinations in Japan. The space Bedroom: There are 2 private rooms with 1 single bed and 1 room with a double bed. There is 1 extra bed. The only heating appliance is the wood stove in the living room with a dirt floor. Experience Japanese life from decades ago. Even in the middle of summer, the mornings, evenings, and shade are cool, and in winter, if you have warm clothes, it's surprisingly comfortable! Internet environment: We would like to offer a digital detox time, so there is no wifi or TV. Kitchen Amenities: A mini fridge (90ℓ) for guests is installed in the living room. The kitchen is free to use, including dishes and cooking utensils. There is a rice cooker, microwave, toaster, and small hot plate. You can use a mortar and pestle for mochi pounding for a fee. Toilets: There are 2 Western-style toilets. Laundry: You can use the washing machine and dryer. We will give you detergent if you stay for more than a week. Bathing: You can use the shower. There is a day-use hot spring facility, "Toei Onsen", a 7-8 minute drive away (closed on Wednesdays). There are also two day-use hot spring facilities (Yutani Onsen and Toyone Village) within a 30-minute drive. It is not open 24 hours a day, and is not open late at night or early in the morning). Supermarket: There is one about 10 minutes away by car. Pets: We welcome pets as a valued member of the family. There is a water fountain outside to wash your pet's feet. You can spend time with your family and pets in the living room with a dirt floor. Please dispose of feces and waste properly. Parking: You can park 4 cars in front of the house. You can park 2 cars on the side of the road near the house. Guest access You can enter anywhere except the owner's bedroom.
