The space Welcome to Wesley Place, a beautifully converted former Wesleyan chapel dating back to 1800, now a unique home which has been lovingly renovated, located in the heart of Deddington village. This friendly Oxfordshire village is known for its foodie shops, independent stores and traditional pubs, Wesley Place is the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds with Soho Farmhouse just 7 miles away and Blenheim Palace & Bicester Village also within a short drive. Inside, the double-height living room immediately impresses, with a baby grand piano, eclectic antique furnishings and a cosy electric fireplace offering a welcoming feel. Beyond the living room is a modern open plan kitchen/diner, fully equipped with a gas range cooker, fridge freezer and De'Longhi coffee machine (2 x ESE compostable pods provided). The dining area features a large table comfortably seating six guests, ideal for entertaining. There's also a WC downstairs. Upstairs, the main bedroom boasts a super-king bed (6'0" x 6'6") with an open-plan ensuite featuring a luxurious roll-top bath, sink & WC. There's also a large TV with Google Chromecast for streaming (you will need your own subscriptions). The second bedroom features a charming French double bed (4'7" x 6'6"), while the third bedroom offers a single sleigh bed with a trundle underneath which pulls out into a 2nd single bed (both 3'0" x 6'3"). For your convenience, the bedrooms share a separate bathroom upstairs featuring an enclosed shower cubicle, sink & WC. Throughout the property, premium materials from the likes of Farrow & Ball, DeVol and Fired Earth have been carefully selected, alongside unique antiques and curated artworks, creating an individual and eclectic ambiance. Outside, small enclosed paved courtyards at the front and rear offer peaceful spaces to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with something stronger in the evening. The rear courtyard offers seating and a table, perfect for soaking up the tranquil surroundings. Wesley Place is perfectly located just around the corner from the centre of Deddington (2 min walk) with all the amenities you need for a short stay. The Great Tew Estate & Soho Farmhouse is a 12 minute drive, Blenheim Palace is only 10 miles away and Bicester Village Designer Outlet is 12.5 miles. Wesley Place is also in the ideal location for visiting the Cotswolds with the stunning villages of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh only 20 miles away. For those traveling with furry friends, we welcome up to 2 dogs to join you during your stay. Please ensure you review the Pet section under 'Other things to note' before booking with your pet to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. A travel cot and high chair are also available for an additional cost, ensuring a stress-free stay for younger families. Whether you're a seasoned pianist, a culinary enthusiast, or simply seeking a cosy retreat in the Cotswolds, Wesley Place offers the perfect blend of history, charm and modern comfort for a truly memorable stay! Guest access This detached home is available for the exclusive use of our guests. There is parking for one car on the front courtyard with additional free parking on the street outside the property (please ensure you do not obstruct the neighbour's driveway). Other things to note As the property was converted from a historic building, there are some low beams and reduced head height in the upstairs bathroom, shower & main bedroom. There is also a low beam in the 3rd bedroom above the bed. The washer dryer is located in the 3rd bedroom. There is additional hanging space available in the cupboard on the landing where you will also find spare bedding for the 2nd single bed. Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is by 10am. We may be able to offer a later check-out or earlier check-in for an extra cost via prior arrangement only. Mid-stay cleans and/or linen changes can be organised on request for an additional charge. As with many older properties, the occasional cobweb can appear despite our best efforts to clear them. If you do happen to spot any, please just let us know - we’ll keep working hard to ensure the cottage is always clean and welcoming for our guests. Linen, towels & toiletries are provided along with a welcome pack including tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets and snacks. We welcome up to 2 pets during your stay for a charge of £30 per pet, bowls and welcome pack are provided. Please ensure the pets box is ticked when selecting the number of guests. Please kindly consider our house rules if you bring your dog: - Dogs must be well behaved and house trained - Please keep your pets off the beds & soft furnishings - Any fouling on premises must be cleared up please as quickly as possible - Muddy paws are to be cleaned before entering the house - Dogs must not be left alone in the property, thank you We can also supply a travel cot & high chair for an additional cost of £25 per stay, please kindly request these at the time of booking. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot. For insurance purposes as a Holiday Let we have been asked that you kindly do not light the candles please. We hope that these notes won’t affect the enjoyment of your stay.
