The space Tucked away in the peaceful hills of Wilsons Pocket, Queensland, with sweeping views toward the Cooloola Coastline, Hinterland Hideaway Farmstay is your perfect countryside escape. Set on scenic farmland with panoramic views, this private and pet-friendly modern farmstay experience features a spacious, air-conditioned/heated farmhouse with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Comfortably sleeping up to 11 adults (plus a cot), it's the ideal getaway for families or groups looking to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature, while also meeting some very friendly and adorable animals. Guests can enjoy modern comforts blended with country charm, including a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and expansive decks with panoramic valley views. Outdoor amenities include a wood-fired BBQ, fire pit, and walking trails. Animal lovers will delight in the opportunity to hand-feed chickens, ducks, sheep, and guinea pigs. The property is also a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering birdwatching and stargazing experiences. Located just 20–40 minutes from Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach, Noosa and Gympie, Hinterland Hideaway Farmstay provides the perfect blend of countryside serenity and coastal adventure. Whether you're looking to relax in nature or explore nearby attractions, this farmstay promises a memorable and rejuvenating getaway. All with 100% cotton sheets or bamboo cotton to keep you cool. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, and the property is air-conditioned (and with heating). You will be in complete comfort, regardless of the season, during your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, and a high chair is also provided, along with children's plates, cups, bowls, and cutlery. Babies & Toddlers: We also have a cot that is for babies and can convert to a small bed for toddlers (so please note: this makes up the 12th spot, so please let us know if your baby or toddler is coming in the numbers, and let us know if you would like us to make up the cot for you). Bedroom 1: Master bedroom: Large master with Queen Bed and ensuite bathroom with an additional convertible Cot (to cater to both babies and toddlers). We can also accommodate two extra single beds in this room for larger groups. Bedroom 2: Features two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. That has two doors of access, so that Bedroom three has its own entrance to the bathroom. Bedroom 3: Queen Bedroom. Bathroom 2 has two-way door access, allowing for easy access to the bathroom. Lounge Room: Features a Queen-Size Sofa Bed. We can also place an extra single bed if needed for larger groups. We have also provided a Bluetooth speaker and board games for your entertainment. We can also provide a Wii console and DVDs by request (free of charge - but they are checked in and out). Guest access You have access to the full farmstay property gardens and your house while you are here. Chicken & Duck feeding/egg collecting, Sheep and guinea pig feeding are also available by appointment for free. Other things to note As we have multiple dams on the property, it is important to monitor your children at all times. There are great activities in the area, so you have the best of both worlds - the serene countryside (without all the crowds) and you can go do the below for additional adventures during the days. Tin Can Bay (wild Dolphin feeding) - 30 mins Kin Kin: 22 mins Permona: 35 mins Rainbow Beach: 40 mins Noosa: 40 mins Gympie: 22 Minutes To note: Treeby Road is an unsealed road (it is a smooth, unsealed road that is accessible by all vehicle types). The driveway to your property is also unsealed, but is accessible by all vehicle types. Being in the country, reception on the phone is fine for Telstra (up to 5G), and on the balcony at the property is where you get better reception from Optus and Vodafone, but it's not great for those providers. But once you connect to the Wi-Fi, you can make Wi-Fi calls perfectly, as we have starlink internet (faster than any broadband). We don't have TV reception, but we have free wifi, and you can live stream TV from the apps we have DVDs for you if you want a movie night. We also offer free Disney Plus, Stan, Netflix and Prime and free Wifi :). Pets must be up to date with their worming/Tick/Flea treatment, and you must collect their droppings during your stay. Dogs must be on a leash outside the property gates, as we have free-range chickens, ducks and cows on the grounds.
