Beach Cabin - Kowhai Landing

Summer or winter, sunny Kowhai Landing is the perfect couples retreat. Romantic, private, and oh-so-close to the beach - you'll leave this place rejuvenated and relaxed. A classic Kiwi cabin in a town that still feels like the beach places of old, this small but practical layout has a kitchenette and ensuite. In addition, there is a large private BBQ deck, hot outdoor shower, and bath. With no wifi or TV, this is a place to get away from it all. Powered Caravan site by appointment only. The space This location is at the quiet northern end of Ōtaki Beach and the beach is across the road from the property. Less than an hour's drive from Wellington with two lanes each way. The cabin is double-glazed, newly renovated, and is warm and sunny. There is a small heater if needed. For self-catering the kitchenette has crockery and utensils for four, a toaster, jug, and an air-fryer. The BBQ on the outside deck has a gas burner for boiling and a grill and hotplates. There is an abundance of takeaways 5 minutes up the road. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, small vanity and toilet. Outdoor cushions for the BBQ furniture are under the bed. The brand-new Queen bed has a feather duvet and cotton sheets. Towels provided. The 1.8m couch does fold out to a short double bed to accommodate a third guest if needed. There is an outdoor shower and outdoor bath. Both of these have hot and cold running water. There is a caravan outlet outside to the left of the cabin for power for a caravan or motorhome. Extra guests and use of this outlet by arrangement only. Late checkout by negotiation.
