Three Birches Glamping Cottage

Calling all glamping enthusiasts • your tranquil escape to the country is here! Located in Tauwharenikau, this wee cottage is nestled into a private section of a small farmlet and overlooks the lovely countryside. Enjoy peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to all the vineyards and cafes. Please note * * visiting DOGS need to be CHICKEN FRIENDLY * * The space Three Birches Cottage is conveniently located right in the golden triangle of the South Wairarapa - only a kilometre away from the famous Rose & Smith wedding and events venue at the Tauwharenikau Racecourse, 5 minutes to Greytown and Featherston villages, 10 minutes to Martinborough and just over an hour from Wellington. Your section is fully fenced and you will have river, bush and rural walks nearby. Guest access You will be surrounded by other working farms therefore there might be associated farm and animal noises throughout your stay. We have three dogs ourselves but (except from potentially hearing them from a distance from time to time) you will not encounter them in your private section. Other things to note Please note this is a glamping experience with an outdoor compostable toilet, an outdoor solar shower and an outdoor wood fired clawfoot bath. Water temperature of the shower is weather dependent and it will be cooler on overcast or rainy days. This is a farm stay therefore you will be able to hear the animals, in particular during their morning feeding time. Only CHICKEN FRIENDLY dogs allowed as we have fully free ranging pet hens on the property.
