Only a 2 minute walk to the lake and dock from the cottage. Come relax and prepare for fun, relaxation, and beautiful sunsets. Retreating to our small cozy 2 bedroom cottage nestled in the pines with family or friends for days filled with activity on 26,000 acre West Point Lake, or for quiet, serenity on the deck overlooking the lake with your favorite book, your favorite drink, or both. Pet Friendly - Dogs/pups are welcome. Guests MUST indicate pets in booking. Pet fee is included in nightly rate shown. There is a one-time $50 fee per dog. This excludes ADA Compliant Service Dogs. Two (2) dog limit. Please note only dogs are allowed (no cats or other pets as owner is highly allergic) The cabin which is located on nearly three acres and surrounded by ten acres of Corp. of Engineers property, allows the utmost in privacy. Glass doors on the lake side of the cottage provide a great view of the lake through the pines. Two bedrooms are separated by a full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and one has two twin beds. Livingroom with sofa, flatscreen TV, and internet access. Full kitchen with a stove, range and dishwasher is fully outfitted with dishes, cookware, etc. Both a drip and Kuerig coffee maker are provided. Washer, dryer provide convenient laundry self- service. Outside enjoy the deck, gas firepit, as well as two picnic tables and charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal). Walk a short path to the lake and enjoy. Fish from the dock or take your boat out for great fishing on the lake. Glass Bridge and Pyne Road Park boat ramps are only a few minutes drive away. Tie your boat up at our dock after a great day on the water. Enjoy the provided kayaks and paddle around the lake. For those looking for a little activity, enjoy the private tennis or pickleball court or the basketball hoop. Or have a game of croquet, throw the football and frisbee on the large open lawn. For your next escape, consider our cottage. We love it and know you will too! Lake levels fluctuate; accordingly, the homeowner cannot guarantee what the water level of Lake West Point will be during your stay.
