Family gîte in Vendée - 3-star charm & comfort

The 3-star rated cottage "La Petite Feuille" is a cozy and peaceful cottage between nature, Puy du Fou and the beaches of Vendée. This large-capacity cottage (200 m² and 14 people max), renovated in 2023 in an old barn, has all the modern comforts, in the quiet of an 8-hectare property in the heart of nature. Its relaxing setting makes it the ideal place for family gatherings. Beds made on arrival and cleaning included. Access to the owner's pool offered between May and September (10 AM - 7 PM). The space The vacation home is located on the first part of our 8-hectare property, so about 30 meters from our own house, but it has a private enclosed garden, a terrace, and parking. An enclosure with 3 sheep is close to the cottage, as well as a 1600 m² fishing pond with ducks, an orchard and a small green space that can be used as a playground. Children can, if they wish, accompany me to feed the animals (ducks and sheep). The gite has been renovated in the left and central parts of an old barn. It consists of a ground floor and one floor. On the ground floor are: the living rooms, 2 bedrooms, a game room and a bathroom with toilet. The ground floor in detail: - A large central room of 72 m², very pleasant, composed of an entrance, a storage closet, a dining room, an open equipped kitchen, a living room and a bay window overlooking the terrace, the garden, the sheep pen and the surrounding meadows - The dining room is equipped with a large table and chairs for 14 people and a large bay window overlooking the entrance of the cottage, for good times of conviviality - The central kitchen, open to both the dining room and the living room, is fully equipped: fridge with freezer compartment, induction hobs, sink, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker and Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pressure cooker, built-in hood, various electrical appliances, such as raclette appliances, crepe party, juicer, etc. - A 3 m² cellar adjoining the kitchen with washing machine, ironing board and iron, vacuum cleaner, drying rack and storage shelves - The very cozy living room with sofas, armchairs, cushions, tables, storage furniture, TV and DVD player, with direct view of the terrace and garden - Games and relaxation room with TV screen for PS4, library, children's area with board games, video games, toys for all ages, relaxation area with small table, school desk, pencils and coloring books, poufs and coat racks - Bedroom 1 with 5 beds, either a master suite or dormitory of 28 m², including: - 1 double bed 160X200 - 3 single beds of 90X200 with bedside tables, armchairs, wardrobe and storage shelves, luggage rack, with direct view and access to the garden through a French window. - Bedroom 2 of 18 m² with 2 beds, including: - 1 double bed 160X200 with bedside tables and dresser, armchair, luggage rack, with view of the access road to the cottage through a bay window - Bathroom with toilet: 6 m² with shower, single sink, toilet, towel dryer, hair dryer and storage shelf Upstairs, you will have access to 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 private shower room in one of the bedrooms, 1 mezzanine, 1 toilet: - Bedroom 3 of 16 m² with 3 beds including: - 1 double bed 160X200 - 1 single bed of 90X190 with bedside tables, armchair, wardrobe and storage shelves, luggage rack - Bedroom 4, 15 m² (161 sq ft), with 2 beds, including - 1 double bed 160X200 bedside tables, wardrobe and storage shelves, armchair, luggage rack The added bonus of this 4th bedroom: - Private shower room in the bedroom: 5 m² with shower, double sink, towel dryer and hairdryer - Separate toilet - Bathroom: 5 m² with shower, double sink, towel dryer, hairdryer and small storage furniture - 1 Mezzanine of 18 m² very bright, which serves as a 5th bedroom if the trundle beds are unfolded, served by a landing of 8 m², including: - 2 single pull-out beds (80 x 200) A small lounge for relaxation and reading with a library. The exteriors have: - The wooden terrace with garden tables and chairs for 14 people, 2 parasols for sunny days. - The 500 m² fenced garden has armchairs, deckchairs, 1 large charcoal barbecue and tables/chairs for children in the summer. - Young and old can enjoy a swing with a slide and some games provided and stored in the garden box (balls, pucks, molky, cornhole, badminton set, balloons, small soccer goal, etc.). A table tennis table is unfolded on the terrace (paddles and balls are available) - Free loan of baby equipment and furniture upon prior request (2 cots with mattresses, 1 high chair, 1 baby lounger, 2 booster seats, 2 toilet reducers, 2 step stools, 1 baby bathtub, 1 bath lounger, 1 bath ring, 1 baby potty, 1 baby lounger, children's dishes) - There is no private swimming pool at the cottage: the pool that guests have access to is the owners' pool located in their garden. Access to the pool is exclusively reserved for tenants of the cottage between 10 am and 7 pm. Guest access Guests have access to: - In the gîte's fully fenced private garden - To the recreational area located along the cottage with a private pétanque court, games, and a private ping pong table - At the unfenced fishing pond located a few meters from the vacation rental (fishing equipment not provided) - At the small soccer field with a large goal in front of the cottage - At our private swimming pool (9x4 meters and 1.40 m deep) located in our garden, between the vacation rental and our house (about 30 meters from the vacation rental) during the summer months, between 10 AM and 7 PM. Secure, heated swimming pool with a dome, unsupervised. Access to our pool is exclusively reserved for the gite's tenants (we do not swim there between 10 AM and 7 PM) Access to pool deck chairs and lounge chairs as well as some pool games. - In the uncovered outdoor parking area (shared with us, the owners) - At the EV charger located in the parking lot, upon request, upon your arrival (charging cost to be determined upon arrival). Other things to note The accommodation can only accommodate up to 14 people, including children and babies under 2 years old. Cleaning is included in the base price (excluding Airbnb service fees), so there is no additional charge. Sheets are provided and beds are also made on arrival, at no extra cost. Bath mats are provided in each bathroom, and 2 dish towels and 1 hand towel are available in the kitchen upon your arrival. A hairdryer is located in each bathroom. Bathroom linens are not provided, so we offer the rental of a bath towel set (including one large and one medium towel) on request a few days before your arrival, for €6/person, to be paid on site. If you wish to enjoy the cottage a little longer on the day of departure (until 4 pm), a late check-out supplement is offered at a price of €100, except in July and August. Please contact us to register this surcharge. A security deposit of €1,000 will be required by check upon check-in or by bank card imprint the day before your arrival. Basic necessities are available (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee, tea, filters, cocoa, herbal teas, a few basic spices, a few rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels, firelighter, a small bag of charcoal). The gite has 2 coffee makers: 1 classic filter coffee maker and 1 Senseo coffee maker The gîte has 3 fans. If the children want to help feed the animals (sheep, ducks), they will be welcome to join me.
