The space The two-story brick villa features a pine roof ceiling and hardwoods throughout, including 19 doors of pink cedar and hacienda-style furniture of cedar and rain tree. With a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the first floor, and a loft/mezzanine with a full size bed, sofa bed, and full bathroom, the villa offers privacy and comfort for each guest in your group. Sit out in one of our two balconies with a morning cup of Colombian coffee in hand and be inspired by the views of verdant countryside framed by the Andean mountains. Or take a leisurely walk around the finca amid lush gardens teeming with orchids, colorful bougainvilleas that give the property its name, as well as trees of cacao, mango, papaya, pineapple, orange, lemons, avocados, bananas, the more exotic pitaya, lulo and mangostino, and a bamboo forest teeming with wildlife. The villa is tastefully furnished with beautiful photographs from the owner’s collection, and the beds feature memory foam mattresses and cotton linens for utmost comfort. The kitchen is well appointed and stocked with basic cooking supplies, fragrant Colombian coffee, and freshly picked fruits harvested on the property. The region's pleasant weather ensures year-round enjoyment. Gardens The property features extensive gardens adorned with fruit trees, a variety of shrubs, and vibrant bougainvillea flowers. At the back, a bamboo forest hosts unique local flora and fauna. House Kitchen The fully equipped kitchen includes a small auxiliary dining room. Upon arrival, you’ll find a basket of regional fruits. Living Room and Dining Room These inviting spaces are perfect for group gatherings. The dining room features an elegant eight-seat table. A guest half-bathroom is conveniently located nearby. Balconies The house boasts two balconies, one at the front and one at the back, both offering stunning views of the property and surrounding mountains. Master Bedroom The master bedroom, located on the first floor, features a queen size bed and a full bathroom. Loft Situated on the second floor, the loft includes a queen size bed, full bathroom, TV room, sofa bed, and two balconies. Other Bedrooms Two additional bedrooms are located on the first floor, with a full size bed each, and sharing a full bathroom. Guest access Guests will be greeted by doña Teresa and don Jairo and their friendly dogs Lulú, Mila, Morgan, Toby and Perla, and directed a short distance to the villa’s parking pad. Guests will feel right at home in the family atmosphere of our finca. We are nature lovers, hospitable and respectful of the privacy of our guests; and our dogs will welcome you with wagging tails, as if you were their best friend... Other things to note The extra charge for each person not included in the original reservation is the $45.00. Please keep in mind that the house is set up for a maximum of 8 people.
