For a lovely walk we recommend continuing down the track past the cottage, past the camping site, until you reach Berwick St James (home to a really lovely farm shop!). There is a log burner in the living room, only for the winter months (Oct - March). During these months we provide enough wood, kindling and fire lighters for 2 fires, so please bring additional supplies if you anticipate lighting more fires during your stay. Wellies are provided :) The Gardener comes every Wednesday. Nb: Outdoor heaters pictured are no longer available for use SAFETY There is a wire mesh fence that restricts access to the river and does extend the full perimeter of the property.
