The space This is a private home on 6+ acres on a quiet country road. There is a main home and a separate attached, but private studio apartment with its own private entrances. Guest access Guests can park in front of the studio apartment. We have parking for larger vehicles like mobile homes. The driveway has a 10% grade. To the right of the driveway a short walkway leads to a private deck with its own entrance via sliding glass doors into the studio apartment. A numeric keypad unlocks the door. Guests are provided with their own keypad code for a convenient and contactless check-in. Other things to note Please refer to our guidebook for details about the surrounding area and things to do. We are directly across the street from a 280 acre town park with wooded trails for hiking. In season, the lake in the park has a beach with lifeguards (small fee). The Appalachian Trail is accessible from multiple nearby trailheads. We're also a short drive from other nature preserves and streams for trout fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, as well as The Great Swamp. If you bring bicycles, we are 3 miles from the Maybrook Rail Trail which connects to other trails that go all the way across the Hudson River and beyond. Grocery delivery via app is available from local supermarkets. The smart TV is an Amazon Fire TV.
