Expansive windows and spacious deck perched in the trees provide uninterrupted views of the sparkling water, creating a serene backdrop for your getaway. Comfortable and spacious, with more than 3000 square feet of living space spread over three levels, our home offers ample gathering areas, private bedrooms, and comfy spots to curl up with a good book. You’ll feel right at home in this coastal haven. Ideal for family gatherings, reunions, vacations with friends, or a romantic escape. Main level designed for social activities, with open-floor plan connecting kitchen, dining, and family rooms with direct access to a large patio perched above the pool and beach. Patio includes 8-person dining table, sofa seating, and bbq grill. Convenient half-bath centrally located. Linens and towels provided (including pool/beach towels.) Bedrooms: - Primary BR: queen bed on the second level, expansive water views, small private balcony, private bath w/glass shower, double-sink vanity, large walk-in closet. - 2nd & 3rd BRs: Two-room suite on the second level, queen bed in the back room (with sofa and wall-mounted TV facing the bed) and a comfortable queen sofa bed in the front en suite room (note there is not a door between these rooms so keep that in mind for privacy concerns when booking), large closet, access to full bathroom with shower & tub on the second floor. - 4rd BR: On the lower level (with ground-level access to the backyard and beach), queen bed, TV, sofa private full bathroom with shower & tub, and direct access to exercise room, with water views and French doors opening to the pool, patio, hammock, fire pit and beach. - Home Office on the second floor: height-adjustable desk (to standing) and leather desk chair, 50” TV, high speed internet, stunning water views. Convenient haven for those who want to work or find respite. Home Amenities: • Private Pool and Deck: Take a dip in the pool or lounge on the sun-soaked deck while enjoying the bay breeze. Whether you're sipping a cool drink or basking in the warmth of the sun, the pool area is the perfect spot to gather with friends and family, unwind and create lasting memories. Pool is open May 15 through mid-September, weather permitting. • The Beach: Enjoy a day at the beach, hunt for sharks’ teeth, sea glass, and all types of shells. After a day of beachcombing, rest in the hammock or challenge your group to a friendly basketball game in the driveway or a ping pong tournament in the finished garage. • Water Fun: Explore the Bay's bounty with easy access to crabbing, fishing, and boating, all available for charter nearby. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-time crabber, our location provides the perfect starting point for aquatic adventures and delicious seafood feasts. The home comes with 3 kayaks, 3 stand-up paddle boards, and numerous board games and puzzles. • Wildlife Wonder: Witness the marvels of nature as you spot abundant wildlife, including red foxes, heron, osprey, and resident bald eagles soaring overhead. The Chesapeake Bay is a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. • Fire Pit Magic: As the sun sets over the Bay, gather around the fire pit for a magical evening gazing at stars. Share stories, roast marshmallows, and enjoy the warmth of the fire as you create memories. • Modern Kitchen: For those who love to cook, our well-equipped kitchen and large island is a dream. Prepare culinary delights with fresh, local ingredients, while taking in the majestic bay views. Open access to both outdoor porch and indoor dining areas allows socializing while preparing meals. • Spacious gym: On the lower level, the fitness room includes treadmill, elliptical, and rowing machine, free weights, incline bench, Bosu ball, yoga mats, TRX performance exercise bands, and a large TV. With views of the Bay and walk-out French doors to the patio, pool deck, and beach. • The Area: Solomons Island, AnnMarie Gardens, and Calvert Marine Museum are all less than 10 minutes away and perfect for family outings. Solomons is home to local restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores or a walk on the boardwalk. The Thomas Johnson Bridge connects Solomons to additional shopping (including big boxes like Target, Walmart, Lowe's, Old Navy, Michael's, Best Buy) and dining in historic St. Mary's County. Perigeaux Vineyards and Winery offers live music and a peaceful excursion 30 mins away. Multiple public golf courses and tennis and pickleball courts are available nearby. To venture further into nature, the Cove Point Lighthouse, Battle Creek Cypress Swamp, Flag Pond, and Calvert Cliffs are nearby, offering terrific gentle hikes to beaches where you can look for birds, shells, sharks’ teeth and fossils. Other things to note • For compliance with insurance and local requirements, and safety protocol, at the time of booking we require the names of all adult guests and ages of children, and prior to check-in, a government-issued ID of the primary booking guest. • We love animals but we and many of our guests have allergies, so unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets. • The pool is relatively shallow throughout. It is 4 feet deep at either end, and slightly deeper in the middle at 5 feet. Good for laps and games but definitely no diving! Pool is not heated so temperature varies through the season but because it's shallow, tends to heat up nicely when it's warm out. • House has 3 exterior security cameras overlooking the front door, garage, and pool. There are no interior security cameras. • Interior furniture and decor is being updated so you may find some minor differences from photos when you check-in. • Bath and beach towels and bed linens provided, as well as all-natural soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. There are 4 beach chairs, kids' sand buckets and beach shovels. • Private community beach access is from our yard to the left as you face the Bay.
