A castle in the mountains!

In the heart of Ubaye stands the Château des Magnans, the most extraordinary of the "Mexican villas", built in 1903 at an altitude of 1250 m. Our 95 m2 apartment is located in the castle on the 1st level. You can enjoy modern comfort thanks to a very recent renovation, as well as the charm of the old, moldings, fireplaces, stained glass windows... It has a beautiful covered terrace overlooking the valley, and a private garden. The indoor pool and sauna will be available to you. The space The castle is integrated into a hotel residence comprising 3 modern buildings, one of which houses a heated indoor pool and a sauna that you can access freely. Our luxurious apartment includes 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: 1 king size bed of 180 x 200 cm Bedroom 2: 1 queen size bed of 160 x 200 cm. Bedroom 3: 2 bunk beds (90 x 190 cm). 1 bathroom with walk-in shower, 1 separate toilet, 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. 1 large living room (with sofa bed) with open kitchen and dining room, as well as a second dining area in the tower of the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine. Connected to fiber and Netflix. Electric stove in the living room imitating a wood fire. Washing machine. Covered terrace facing southwest and private garden of 150 m2 with tables, chairs, deckchairs, offering magnificent views of the valley and mountains. 2 private parking spaces in the covered garage. Located in the village of Jausiers, the residence allows the practice of many activities such as skiing in winter, hiking or swimming and water activities in summer. The nearest ski resorts (15 to 20 minutes by car) are LE SAUZE, SAINTE ANNE LA CONDAMINE, and PRA-LOUP. In summer, the popular lake of Jausiers, 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot, is a real substitute for the crowded beaches of the coast, offering supervised swimming, the possibility of practicing paddle and wake-boarding, in the pure waters of the Ubaye, and with relaxation areas and a bar-restaurant. Ideal for young and old! The Ubaye Valley is a preserved alpine valley, with a very original history due to its links with Mexico, which extends to the Italian border, between Queyras and Mercantour. You can make a lot of discoveries and activities within grandiose landscapes. Guest access No elevator, no access for PRM.
