They make the perfect holiday destination for extended and multi - generational family get-togethers and celebrations. The space Together the 3 cottages have 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and can sleep up to 19 guests. The Cottages Horseshoe Barn - this cottage sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. Downstairs there is a King-size bedroom with an adjoining shower room. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, 2 x single beds (3’), and a super king zip and link bed in the 3rd bedroom, a bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. Corn House - sleeps 4 /5 . 1 double bed, 1 single bed (with a 2’6” trundle bed) and a single bed down stairs. A bathroom with a new large walk in shower. Horseshoe Barn and Corn House can be internally linked. Bowood Cottage - sleeps 5/6 . 1 super king zip and link bed, 2 x single beds (3’) and a single bedroom with a 3’ trundle bed if required. A bathroom with a new large walk in shower. Please let us know how you would like the zip and link beds arranged at the time of booking. Each cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for an easy self - catering holiday. Each cottage has plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment and also a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine. There is also a recently installed EV charger, this has an additional charge. The largest cottage, Horseshoe Barn which sleeps 8, has room with the extra table & chairs supplied for 15 guests to eat together. Hiring all 3 cottages gives you the exclusive use of the huge play barn! This has table tennis tables x 2! , a pool table, air hockey, badminton, table football, a slide and other children’s play activities. There are also body boards, buckets, spades and windbreaks for your use whilst staying here at Bowood Farm. There is also soft seating around the barn for groups to get together. BBQ’s and fire pits are available to use in the Summer months. Each cottage has its own patio furniture overlooking the fields, often with sheep, and wonderful views over to Exmoor in the distance. The beautiful North Devon surfing coast is nearby. The 2 mile sandy beach of Westward Ho! Is 6 minutes away and you can join the South West coast path just a 1 .8 mile walk from Bowood Farm. There are many other beautiful beaches slightly further afield. The beautiful villages of Appledore and Instow which lie on the Taw / Torridge estuary are close by, with so many different activities and views to enjoy.
