Not suitable for small kids. There is also no onsite parking during 2024. Come by train :) The space Our beautiful Swiss home is located on the second and third floor of the back of The Bären guest house and gastropub, built in the 900century, in the center of Zweisimmen. Zweisimmen is a small, bustling market town with its own flavor and history nestled between Lenk, Gstaad, the national parks of Gruyères and Diemtigtal. Stunning in any direction. Quiet and easy going. The apartment is new to Airbnb this year after extensive renovations to create a peaceful space to rest, entertain and call home for a few days. It is perfect for older aged children in families and adults as the internal staircase is open to see the old woodwork of the old Bären pub. It is in a chalet style and has a TV to Log into any online streaming service or cast from Apple or android . It also has 5G Wi-Fi in the house to keep you connected . . You access the apartment through the east side of the complex, past the Bären bar on the gravel path. The stone steps up lead to the door and lock box. The home will be beautifully prepared and presented for you with truly the softest linens and fluffy duvets. Towels, coffee and all the basics mean you can just bring yourselves. As you enter the apartment you have the hall where you can drop your shoes. Then to the left is bedroom three and wall to wall sleeping space for your teen or kids. There is a king bed and a pull out single bed in this den. Up the stairs takes you to the main area with a black walnut galley kitchen with an induction hob, oven and Nespresso virtuo machine. There is a 180degree open fire with a heated blue soap stone surround to warm yourself on those colder winter days and nights. The oversized Moroccan granite table is perfect for entertaining- starting and finishing the day together. Adorned with pine banks and sheepskin coverings it’s a cosy space. The living room has also a king pull out bed and a 30ft south facing balcony with sunshades if needed. Bedroom 2 has been designed to accommodate 4 people with its three beds and a fantastic net hammock across the ceiling. There is the turquoise family bathroom that has a delightful rain shower, full tub and drawers for storage. All bathrooms have adjustable towel heaters too. The master bedroom is in the quietest corner of the house with a king bed and en-suite with lights and windows to make it hard to actually want to do anything. Then you remember that the croissants and bread are delicious and you live opposite a cheese shop and the best butcher in the area, so you reluctantly rise. Winter sleds are most importantly available for use. Guest access Access to all areas except owners area with a sauna and plunge not for guests use. Sorry Other things to note The stairs inside the apartment have no handrail not suitable for young children. The roof terrace is under construction and no access is allowed there until completion May 2024.
