Escape the hustle & bustle of the city & come immerse yourself in the tranquility of the country on Sugar Magnolia Farm, just 30 min north of downtown Nashville. Rejuvenate while you enjoy a fun & therapeutic goat experience or take a relaxing hike to the creek. Get the true country experience during the day & go honky tonkin' in the evening! Along with the RV indoor kitchen we have an outdoor gas cooktop, gas grill, charcoal grill and a Traeger as well as a fire-pit for S'mores. We have 18 goats (with a brand new baby born 3/2/24, and more sweet little babies on the way!) a sweet cow that thinks she’s a goat and acts like a dog, two livestock guardian dogs, a playset with swings and a slide for kids to play on, a fire pit for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, hiking (easy as well as challenging hikes), a creek to wade around in or just immerse yourself in the solitude and silence of nature. The RV has a pull-out full-size futon as well as a queen size bed with less-than-a year-old Tempur-Pedic mattress. All cleaning supplies and laundry detergent are non-toxic, and the sheets, pillows, futon-cover, and duvet are Oeko-tex certified. There is a Nespresso vertuo as well as milk frother in the kitchen to make your favorite espresso drinks. Also on the farm, there is a tiny house, where Natasha’s former student, Madi, and her husband, Walker, reside along with their cat, Macchi. You may see one or all of them out and about. Walker designed and built the house, and they are very kind and welcoming, so if you are also interested in tiny house life, they are always happy to give a tour! (Please let us know in advance so we can give them a head’s up!) **Hot water is currently limited due to small tank, but we are currently looking into a tankless system to help increase hot water. However, it is important to know that currently you will not be able to take long, hot, steamy showers...yet. :) You will have access to all areas outside on our land, with the exception of our house. For longer-term stays, we are open to discussing use of our washer and dryer. We ask that you do not access the barn or go inside any fencing where the animals are without permission and required supervision, as well as signing of waivers for each person. We will be available through your stay to assist and answer questions, as well as take you to interact with the animals if you would like. We are only about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville, and surrounded by farms and forests. We are about 10 minutes from the closest grocery store, Walmart, and various restaurants--local and chains.
