This newly renovated bright and cozy flat is located in a peaceful, strategic and prestigious location of Rome Lido. Just 5 minutes walk to the beaches, 40minutes to the heart of Rome and 2 minutes walk from the metro station. 4 metro stops away from the famous Ostia antica archeological area. The space This bright and cozy apartment is newly renovated. It’s on the first floor of an elegant and quiet building of only 5 floors, which has an elevator. The flat has a big balcony (with outdoor furniture in spring and summer) accessible from the huge bedroom. It has a second small balcony accessible from the open space. The apartment is perfect for couple or small family. Excellent for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 kids or infant. The apartment is made up of a large entrance that takes you to the spacious open space where you’ll find a well stocked kitchen with basics amenities but also additional ones such as kettle, orange squeezer, microwave, toaster and a espresso coffe machine to make your exquisite Italian coffee. The large open space offers also a dining area, and a double sofa bed with a 18cm high memory foam mattress and bed springs. Indipendent heating system In front of the open space there’s the bathroom provided with all the essentials and a washing machine. A small hallway will lead you to the bedroom which is very big and spacious where you’ll find a king-size Eu bed, a double door wardrobe with drawers and clothes hangers. A desk and a small and short double sofa bed which is perfect for children. Upon request we can provide amenities for infant and children such as COT, high chair and baby tub free of charge. The apartment is well finished, clean, quiet and comfortable. It’s located near the metro station (250 mt/ 5minutes walking in a cross street. So it’s close to the station but far enough not to hear any kind of train’s noise. The apartment’s vicinity to the metro station gives you the opportunity to reach in just one stop the Ostia main metro station which is “lido centro” where you can easily find buses to/from the Rome Fiumicino Airport. From the station close to the apartment “Stella polare” you can quickly (just 4 metro stops) reach the famous archeological site of Ostia Antica and in just 30/40 minutes reach the heart of Rome. You can choose to walk on the beautiful sand cherishing our breath taking sunset or choose a bike thanks to the cycle lane that’ll take you to the beautiful harbour on one side and on the other side to the airy, shady and beautiful pine forest. Tips for transport: The train from the station close to the apartment will take you directly to the “pyramid/san Paolo station” where you can walk to “circo massimo” and the historic centre of Rome” with just one ticket Departure every 15 minutes for a 30/40 minutes ride. You can also change metro at pyramid station and get off wherever you want to go. Alternatively you can get off at eur maglia a station and take the metro B towards Bologna to reach: circo massimo, Colosseo,Cavour, Termini etc. From/to Rome Fiumicino airport: From T2 take the cotral bus towards “lido centro” where you can take a one stop the train to the apartment, walk for 15 minutes or take a bus. The Opening of the bathing season is indicatively from may to late September. If you don’t like crowded beach and prefer quiet atmosphere September is absolutely the most appropriate period to enjoy the perfect and still warm weather far away from the high season crowd. Pets (preferably small or medium size) are more than welcome. You will find basics amenities also for them but please let the host know the kind of animal the size and the breed.
