Casa Iva
Casa Iva
Description
Welcome to Casa Iva! It’s located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, and is close to UTEP campus, downtown El Paso and restaurants and bars on Mesa street. A park within walking distance makes a pleasant morning walk. The house was built in 1929 (which had me fascinated) - but had been fully renovated when I got it. The space This is my home! I hope you enjoy it. I live here most of the time but go to Europe to visit family during the summer months, and occasionally also travel for work. I have designed (and keep designing) the spaces with a lot of love and care. Please take care of place like you would your own. There are two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, large capacity washer/dryer, and ample street parking. If you’d like to watch a movie, there’s a “movie room” with projector (and an HDMI cable) that you can hook to a laptop. The sun room is my office space – there’s a table and a standing desk. It's pleasant to enjoy the morning sun out on the porch in the morning. There are cooking supplies, and I will provide fresh towels and sheets. The washer and dryer are in the basement (please be very careful going down the stairs). Laundry detergent is in the drawer under the dryer. Guest access PARKING: You can park right in front of the house, or (if the spot is occupied by the neighbors) on the side street to the left. Please do *not* park in the driveway to the right, it belongs to the neighbors. The property is self check-in – you will find the key in a pre-arranged location. Other things to note Please be respectful of the neighbors and observe quiet time after 10pm. Please take your shoes off in the entryway, and be mindful of keeping the rugs clean. The trash cans are out back. You can find them by going out through the back door located between the kitchen and the bedroom. There is coffee in the kitchen, in the cabinet above the coffee maker. There is also an assortment of teas above the microwave. If you think of watering the plants (which is extremely kind!), please check with me first as too much water can kill them.
